Visually, the anime is getting intresting, while the story is getting bored.

Wow, the sister is OP as fuck, I love it. Didn't her and the brother just come from some small village? I wonder how they're both so skilled at what they do @_@.

Also was it me or did those *bugs* look like machines to anyone else? The old knight mentioned that the cave they were in used to be some kind of vehicle, a ship maybe?

im just starting this show and i have to say the story is beginning to lose its pull. Purely because everyone excepts her traveling partners want to kill her even though 5 minutes before they were just friends and didnt have a clue who she was.

I liked when we saw Shannon crack telling Pacifica not to take the easy way out. That was a really human moment for a character who I can only assume lives a bit of a facade. Not in a bad way, more of a tsundere way, not confronting his feelings. And yes, very RPG, "Go to the one special dangerous place and get the special herbs at the end of the tunnel to save her, but only after beating the boss". Not bad though, actually charming. Still combat tends to be laughable. Don't you love having a cast who never has to think or even try to defeat hordes of enemies? I get there is probably some explanation with them being 'guardians', but it doesn't take away from the weightless, threatless combat.

Oh and two small points, It seems like Pacifica's brother actually cares about her to some degree, and the information that she's alive is hidden from him. Hidden by, my second point, the oppressive religious order set in place to maintain power and keep status quo.
Actually make that three points, we saw Leo swing his sword against an opponent for like the first time, my dreams have come true, even if it was just bugs.

I was thinking about it after the episode in which Zephiris appeared for the first time, but now I'm certain - this is a post-apocalyptic word and magic is just a lost technology.

That's what convinced me that the anime is set in a post-apocalyptic world.

I wonder if the people who wrote Adventure Time saw this show

Bro this just keeps getting better with each episode! :D

Not only do I love this older style so far, but the story has been really interesting so far too!

In this episode, now we're introduced to something that resembles a ship of some kind? So apparently there was advanced technology in this weird, as those "bugs" seem like robots to me

Also really wondering how Doyle and Leo are going to react to Pacifica being the scrapped princess!
