Who's the King?

I was first attracted to this manga from seeing the cute art on the magazine covers. The character designs are way nice. I started out thinking this would be another typical school-life romance shoujo manga, but it is nothing like my expectations. It's going in a different but very good direction and Tsubasa is one heck of a great heroine.

After 5 chapters, ARISA is getting dark, intense, and a little scary. I had already predicted that Manabe wasn't the King simply because that would be too fast of a revelation and honestly, he's a "delinquent", why would he take the time to care for what his fellow classmate's wishes. The end of chapter 5 seems to say that Arisa is the King, but she's in a coma while all of these crazy things are happening so I threw that possibility out the window. Right now, I'm highly suspicious of Arisa's boyfriend, Midori, but there has yet to be evidence. Unless the author introduces a new character, I'm betting on Midori.

Who do you think the King is?

meh, i think its Mariko - Arisa's best friend.. it does seem like she has a sinister side.

When she was first introduced, jumping onTsubasa whom was thought as 'arisa', i thought she's the usual bubbly goofy best friend but when she whispered in her ear that time saying 'it'll be boring' in chp 2... i had to quirk a brow. And i read a spoiler where she gave tsubasa something to eat - and smiled evilly!!

Heck am jus on chp 3 xD lol, but i'm still sticking with Mariko *nods head stubbornly*

I think Mariko is the King too. x) Or more like, the assistant of the King... a second-in-command perhaps? Things might have gotten out of hand once the game was introduced.

I agree..it could be the transfer student. The class is crazy over the stupid king. It can be someone else that we met but isn't being suspicious of...>.<

well to me i think it the transfer student!! cuz u know he did plot something against tsubasa. btw had any of u guy look in detail why he was in the nurse room when tsubasa was traped in the fire ;o?

i dont think its Kudou (transfer student), although there are hints he is. i think its Arisa´s boyfriend. Damn i really love him but because he is so goody goody, i think its him!

ughhh this manga got me irritated midori wants to kill Tsubasa, Arisa wants to kill Tsubasa... Arisa and Midori needs to die k thx bye

There were two kings and it was Midori-kun and Arisa. Arisa started the whole thing, then midori came and went along with it. But then Midori went too far and Arisa was frightened or something. So Midori took over as the King.

Of course it's Arisa and her boyfriend. I guess it's obvious since the manga is finished, lol. Oh well, it's such an old topic, no one is probably gonna care about this.

From the first chapter, I thought there were two people behind 'King'. No question about it. I had my suspicions on Arisa and the "boyfriend" (said with a Valley Girl accent -- that's what I called Midori).

Kudou did throw me in a loop when the convos with 'K' were revealed but with the case of 'dead guy', it was pretty clear who King was. I found it hilarious the student checked radial pulse to figure out whether the guy is dead... I was like: "He might not actually be dead if you check it there."
