Best episode of the show so far. This show is so beautiful to look at and it has so much heart, I can see why it's considered a classic.

Also, Midori is so fucking cool.

She should feel relieved instead, because Midorikawa's attitude towards Coach would be quite fishy otherwise.

Haha I totally thought the same thing.
Before this ep I was thinking: OK, well they're either siblings or lovers.

Why is Hiromi so shocked? Finding out they were lovers is the only thing that could maybe merit a pencil drop that dramatic.

So they're only siblings, makes sense.

Hiromi does manage to pick herself up very easily each time.

The end scene felt like they tried to over-dramatize a simple information who clears any suggested problem around the girlcrying on the coach anc calling him "Jin" with no suffix.

5/5 The old persecutor taking a tutor approach was nice.

I was actually wondering if they were siblings, as they have similar shaped faces, so it's no surprise.

Hiromi is struggling in doubles practice, but she'll get better. This may actually mend her relationship with Ryuuzaki if they can do well as a team.

Maki best girl. But honestly I wish they'd add more bruising to Hiromi to show how fucking intense those hits to the body.

I mean I've never played intense real tennis but I feel like Hiromi gets hit too much on her body to be realistic plus like wouldn't you want your player to idk not be hit in the literal face more than once in a match????

I too was expecting something a bit more forbidden tbh I'm glad they're just siblings. But Hiromi why you reacting like that 😂

thank goodness they're siblings and not lovers. still, there are things to explore in their relationship. doesn't Jin train his sister to remain impartial, or does he think she's lacking something? except for whining after her failure with Ryuzaki, her approach to tennis seems sensible.

Otowa grows slowly but steadily and it's great. she doesn't immediately cling to Hiromi to make friends, but she stops gossiping behind her back and coaches her during the practice even though she could just mercilessly beat Hiromi out of spite and all. the only question concerning Otowa is how did she manage to heal her arm so soon.

great episode overall, but that over-dramatization at the end was kinda funny lol

"I'm not crying because I'm sad. It's because the sea is so beautiful."

classic dezaki episode where the character wanders around feeling lost and forlorn. the scene with the boy and the puppy is touching.
