| One of the more classic love life stories i miss from the late 80's-90's... really enjoyed this realistic piece Kitagawa put out than the more modern bs out there. Man First Love is always tough |

| I liked the music and the 80s aesthetic but the ending was lame, mysoginistic, and confusing due to the naretive of the rest of the OVA. The ending bumped it down from a 7 to a 6 for me, would have given it a 5 if I didn't enjoy the rest of it so much. |

| What a complete gem this was! Nothing too exciting story wise.. and the ending was such a bummer.. but fuck.. the art and the music throughout was so nostalgic. I love that late 80s - early 90s pop music. Animation back in the day was really the best. Boys! Boys! Boys! |

| I think I'm with all of you. The aesthetics and music carried enough of it for 40 minutes that it was fine. I expected a more happy or at least open-ended hopeful ending, so this one just landed with a thud. Didn't really get why Kubota was angry at Fujisaki when her ex showed up ... she was already broken up by the time they were dancing to BOYS!BOYS!BOYS! in the club, so it wasn't like she was two-timing him. He knew she just got out of a long relationship, I thought? Oh well. I had to add this to my playlist and play it 5x in a row the next morning lol.  |

He knew she just got out of a long relationship, I thought? Oh well.

| @WaterSoullll It's cause it was obvious during the interaction with her and the ex that she was still hung up on the ex. Also you could read into it that she was just using the MC as a rebound and that her feelings were not genuine. Anyway I really loved this. I watched it again recently and all the funky insert songs and visuals and even his gay boss groping him... just idk this thing really has it's own vibe and it managed to convey a little rushed, but pretty complex emotional spectrum. Also BOYS BOYS BOYS! In terms of slice of life OVAs this is peak. |
