| Daddy Long-Legs, hu? So Fujiwara was delusional all along, believing Yuhi would fall in love with him... Right. Nothing really new, except that we finally learn why Fujiwara was always at the top and that Kyôshin (like Ranga) seem bound to certain families. 4/5 A good episode to excite. Too bad it was featuring this detailed or ugly style already seen in a few others before: it contrasts far too much with the rest of the series. June 6th, 2022 @St0rmblade 5 years later, I must confess I don't remember most of the intricacies plot-wise, unlike the themes treatment. I do remember the family friend to be the oine actually in command, and getting to "pilot" the final giant, but not what was exactly the blood link to explain it. (I had to reread my summary o the lore in the previous thread to have any memory o it. (Could only remember Ranga was not part o the "gods" and had killed all his comrades ^^") Lolita plot? |

Why was he? I didn't see anything about Kyôshin being bound to a certain family (Fujiwara's?) P.S. Laburey (is this a romanization of "Lovely"?) being the size of Ranga in her picture book is...interesting. Thought about it when "Daddy Long-Legs" was mentioned in the show regarding Fujiwara and Yuuhi's feelings. Similar theme with the age gap. |
