MUERTES, TITANES Y MAS MUERTES

Damn. I really hope Armin doesn't blame himself for Eren's death. He should know that Eren sacrificed himself because he believed Armin could make it out of the walls, not because of what Armin did.
Anyways, the real question is... IS POTATO GIRL THE NEW MC!?

I love how even in the most hopless situation Eren still finds a way to inspire the ones around him. Shame that the other seasons are just boring wanna be edgy stuff

Review en ESP/ENG

Very good episode, the titans are quite broken haha ??it only has one weak point. Poor Eren's squad didn't last at all and Shingashina's story is repeating itself. Poor Mikasa when she finds out what happened to Eren

Muy buen episodio, los titanes estan bastantes rotos jaja solo tiene un punto debil. Pobre escuadron de Eren no duraron nada y la historia de Shingashina se esta repitiendo. Pobre Mikasa cuando se entere de lo que le paso a Eren

I've definitely watched this first season before, but I don't really remember Eren outright getting devoured. Definitely gonna have to watch another episode to fully understand. Great stuff, though. Very intense and powerful anime.

Oh god, this is gonna be a slaughter
- Always nice to see Eren knock some sense into someone
- The nape of the neck is the titan's weakness? Explains the first bit of the first episode
- The tone changed fast.... Thomas joking around saying whoever kills the most targets wins and then instantly dying is pretty dark irony
- Eren loses a leg? And then an arm trying to save Armin??

This was an intense episode. That ending of Eren getting devoured was crazy yuh. Hope Armin can cope it while he's still in agony about the demise or not demise yet of Eren.

**Attack on Titan: Season 1, Episode 5 Review**

Season 1, Episode 5 of *Attack on Titan* is nothing short of a rollercoaster. The episode opens with a jaw-dropping revelation: the Colossal Titan’s calculated move to destroy the cannons at the top of the wall. This display of intelligence from the Titan is unsettling and adds a chilling new dimension to the already horrifying world. The Colossal Titan's strategic prowess raises immediate questions: What exactly are we dealing with here?

As the episode progresses, Eren’s desperate attempt to confront the Titan ends abruptly when it vanishes without a trace. The mysterious disappearance leaves everyone, including the viewers, baffled. What’s going on? This enigmatic turn heightens the suspense and sets the stage for the chaos that follows.

The evacuation of Trost begins, and Armin’s panic is palpable. Eren’s attempt to calm him down is a touching moment of camaraderie amid the crisis. The introduction of Pixis, who is initially seen playing chess with Marquis Bart, adds a layer of complexity to the narrative. Despite Bart’s insistence that Pixis stay behind for protection, Pixis makes the difficult choice to prioritize the people’s safety.

The recruits are given their orders, and the fear among them is almost tangible. When Eren and Jean encounter each other, Eren’s motivational words serve as a beacon of hope and resolve. Mikasa is tasked with aiding the rear guard, while Eren and Armin are thrust into the vanguard—a role that comes with its own set of daunting challenges.

The episode takes a dark turn with a classroom flashback that dissects Titan biology: their lack of intelligence, reproductive organs, and their sole focus on human slaughter. The revelation that Titans, despite their regenerative abilities, can only be killed by slicing through the back of their necks adds a grim sense of urgency to the fight.

As the vanguard launches their attack, the sheer thrill of watching them maneuver through the city with ODM gear is nothing short of exhilarating. However, the excitement quickly turns to shock with Thomas’s sudden death and the brutal reality of Titan encounters. Eren’s heroic assault is thwarted when a Titan bites off his legs, leading to a harrowing sequence of deaths and injuries among the troops, including Mina.

Armin’s moment of frozen terror is heart-wrenching as he faces the grim prospect of being eaten. The subsequent flashback of young Eren and Armin discussing the world beyond the walls adds a poignant layer to the scene. Eren’s heroic rescue of Armin is both a bittersweet and tragic moment, as Eren himself meets a brutal end.

Did they really just kill off the main character? The shock is palpable, and it’s hard to fathom the direction the show will take after this devastating twist. The action sequences are intense and masterfully executed, and the music heightens every emotional beat.

Overall, this episode is a masterclass in suspense and emotional depth. The unexpected death of Eren leaves viewers reeling, mirroring the chaotic and unpredictable nature of early *Game of Thrones*. For me, this episode earns a solid 5/5. The blend of intense action, emotional weight, and dramatic twists ensures that *Attack on Titan* remains a gripping and unpredictable experience.

Criiinge, bro's been at it for 3 years and still gives up his emotions. AND HOW DO THEY RUN THAT FAST??

3d animation is kinda fire though, for 2013 it's lit.

But how didn't he knock out when he lost his leg and slided at least 15meters like, somehow got on time to rescue Armen. BUT INSTEAD OF ESCAPING HE JUST STAYED HOLDING HIS JAWS, that's crazy ngl
