A reunion was the best way to end this short volume. Saxaphone - that's ingenious! May the sessions never end!
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

I loved it but was bit confused with the ending.

Those 2 kids at the end. Are they young versions of Sen and Kaoru and this is the first time they've meet ( I doubt that)?. Or is one or both of those kids actually kids of Kaoru/Ritsuko and maybe Sen? So if they are at the orphanage, Kaoru and Ritsuko might be dead, being that Sen is the only one alive or perhaps not and that was another priest calling one of the kids.

Third theory might be, those two are just 2 random kids(who happened to look alot like sen and kaoru) at the orphanage who happened to meet and become friends in the future by the power of music (last picture says as long as there is music).

Anyone wants to explain/clarify it to me

Those are plausible explanations.
When I read it, I thought it was history repeating again. No matter what day and age, music brings people together.

I agree with xxxATiON... History repeating in a different way ~ a nice feeling.

It seemed to me it was Kaoru's child looking at the piano, and he ran into a child from the orphanage who was looking at the drums. (The orphanage that Sen works at as a priest.) The instruments being covered up doesn't mean they're no longer in use, it may just be to help keep them clean between sessions.

A superb ending <3

So, its almost like all of them lived on that island e? except for Yurika and Junichi. :D
a child of Richan and Kaoru e? Sugoii~ and they already set their plans for him/her. Saxophone, that is! GREAT! Hoho.

Yurika and Junichi. <3
Great bonus track, I totally wish for me, but I think only this volume is enough to leave such a good feeling (like when you listen to a good jazz song).

This was very good, I like this bonus track better than the manga's actual ending.

I almost wasn't able to finish It because I was sobbing dying while crying a fucking river, drowned in thoughts and happiness.

This is absolutely one of the bests things ever.

Indeed music brings people together. This was quite something imo even for these 5 short chapters, including one of them had war aftermath tragedy, yet the sound of music was able to cheer them up.

7/10. Liked it.

That was amazing, especially that last chapter, it really couldn't have ended any better.

Seriously, why can't manga have endings as developed and wonderful as this one? I feel complete with this ending.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the story and what it had to offer. I'm glad I picked this up after watching the anime.

That's a nice way to end the manga. A happy ending overall. It was a good read.

I bet the two kids at the end will become friends through music.
