| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

Since she took some more out there to make sweets but then shrunk again. Then that'd be 14. Anyway, they were fine for some specials. I enjoyed them. |

| Roughly 15 mins total if you watched the 6 specials in one go and it was surprising to see Watashi turning into a fairy and to follow her (cruel) adventures Glad to see they retained the animation style |

| Loved how the fairies are the same she kidnapped at ep. 10 and they call her god. I want to know why they are in that style and more intelligent. Maybe they are like that for each other and the humans see them in that cute form? |

I think so, note that when she was smaller her grand father couldn't understand her well and she herself was saying her speech was getting simplified when she was trying to tell him a long explanation that was fine in her head yet came out as like "grandpa grandpa looky looky". I know she was getting dumber as she shrank, but this could be a double meaning type of thing, where as this could mean the fairies in the story might have been thinking very detailed things throughout the series and her and the rest of the humans only got it very simplified. Anyways, speaking on the entire specials. I find it kind of sad she lost some of her intelligence at the end of these specials, it makes it feel depressing that she had some of her character/self/soul taken away from her permanently, I mean to me all that makes up a person personality is their mind lol. I know it's an end of the world anime, but this throughout the entire anime this is the only thing that has really made me sad, though those two robots who gained consciousness being converted to those energy things might have been more depressing for others lol. |

Why was there a Flowers for Algernon reference in a show like this? It's Japanese and I doubt anyone would understand. There's no way that was a coincidence. Even if they weren't referencing it to Flowers for Algernon, there's some anime out there who make references from obscure literature. |
