Romance? Really????
I like the Idea
Until now I didn't see anything like romance in this manga or anime, but when I saw 'Romance' written in it's genres I was like

I'm sooooo looking forward to it

it seems in Psycho Pass anime there isn't so much that romance kind of thing, i hope in the manga we will see much more development in that area.. xD

yes, it's for the anme, but the manga is the adaptation from the anime, so it is a possible, Look at the explanation in the character, Kogami and Akane will develop a feeling for each other.. xD (talking about make another shipping couple)

look at the character explanation list, not the genre.. xD

it says "it is possible he may be developing feeling for Akane" so does in Akane's character explanation.. :3

I believe that akane and kogami chemistry is so perfect and clean, maybe its not classified as romance but its like every episode their mutual relationship grows more and more.
I haven't yet reached season 2 nor watched the movie which quite indeed showed some bond between akane and kogami (Ive heard something similar to that)
The point is, again, akane and kogami shares a very decent relationship, whats eating my mind is that the writer tends to hint romance but doesn't quite embrace it so its up to the audience whether they think love could be part of the story or its as if love cannot be included in the package.

Well, what I personally think from what I have seen and took the time to pretty much go through constant researches and observations (seems like I'm trying to find an answer to my shetty questions sigh..) I have finally came to the point where I think yes there is indeed some romance going on there xD but like I said its all hinted since its not embraced between the characters, yet..
I also think that its a bit more of a one sided love, akane for starts (well beats me if kogami is cold as ice) however you can't change the fact that these two are the main characters aside from makishima, even if your not a shinkane kogane shipper you can't avoid not noticing the unwordly relationship these two hold!

Umm, Im not trying to sound homophobic here which I'm not but seriously whats with people shipping kogami and makshima? Like wow have you even watched the anime, what did hate suddenly turned around as love? the guy wants to kill him for gods sake he wants him dead by his own fucking hands and people here believes oh this anime is all bout kogami x makishima. I'm sorry anti kogami x akane or whatever you call yourselves but for thinking that those two seem reasonable enough to you than akane and kogami which in your point have no future what so ever makes you soo dumb, just because you love your ship soo much doesn't mean that your ship could be previewed in the actual anime/manga, theres fanfics & fan drawings for that, I don't really care if there isn't romance here, its just that some people get their hopes to high when they shouldn't, heck "shiotani also wanted the series to avoid romance between male characters" isn't that reasonable enough lol.

Im sorry I'm not good at actually replying to threads and discussing blogs about animes etc, I like watching my shows by reviewing them myself mentally smh, however its rare for me to take that kind of step mhmm..
To state that I'm not against any ship, I was just confused but that happens a lot (and no i don't hate makishima, he's cute k)

I don't know how to end this so I'm just gonna put this here, I will root for my couple till the very fucking end..

we probably have to face it that it won't happen, at least not now. But maybe in the future, once the fight along side each other or once they meet again. I just need a sex-scene hint or a little kiss, no needs for "I love you's" etc, their eyes say in on their own, nothing more. I don't want any cliche romance. But... this...is pain and it's killing me. Especially with their tension and chemistry in the movie and season 1. Oh man, I need a season 3 with Kogami and a season were I'll be able to understand him. Does he like her or not?. /sighs
