God, I squealed... again. Cordelia and Benvolio are very cute together, to see their wedding was just so strikingly adorable. I mean, I'm not surprised with the whole thing where Juliet is fine with sacrificing herself; many of us saw it coming, but I would have hoped she would have told Romeo. Cheers for Romeo as well for finally telling his father he's a bad one. I cannot wait till the end of this series~!

Awww, the only scene that made me go awww is the wedding scene..it's uber cute! But..the rest, as Kana said..at least I hope Juliet will be able to tell Romeo.
Otherwise it's just not fair for that couple >_<!!! Damn this series is one that makes me go very emotional while watching it ;_;

I dunno... The 2nd half or around there of this episode felt like filler for me, and now im feeling that the ending is going too slow @.@... With this ep i gotta bring it from a 10 to a 9 for now.

I'm going to guess this story is going to end up like that Roman myth of Baucis and Philemon, where the lovers end up turning into trees with branches entangled, showing their love will last forever. I'm guessing they will be the new trees supporting Neo Verona.

Wow, that episode was super slow and MAD boring. I skipped over a good chunk of it and feel like I haven't missed out on anything :s

The wedding scene was sooo cute. The wedding gear did suit Cordelia... Saw it coming from a mile away but it was still cute.

So Juliet's going to become the tree to support Neo Verona?

Wow, Cordelia was really beautiful in that wedding gear...
This episode was really emotional and I liked it. First time I cried while watching RxJ.
I'm still not ok with the idea of Juliet turning into a tree though...

I have to completely agree with r0derix... that myth (actually one of my favorite Greek myths... yes I am a geek xD ) would be really fitting considering the set up of the story so far (like it or not, they mentioned Escalus far before either Romeo or Juliet while Montague killed Juliet's father--they planned its role from the beginning) and if they become the trees supporting Neo-Verona they both "die" (like in the play, but with less blood) and live together forever as they promised each other.... Then I guess Tybalt could be king because he is both of Capulet and Montague blood, finally uniting them all! (Haha, my mind's running rampant with ending theories, I think I'll go actually watch and see what happens now xD)

I'll see how I actually like the tree turn out depending on how its executed... if it's some random "look at us, now we're trees!" out of the blue thing then I would've preferred them actually dying in a fashion similar to the play. (Sad to say, but that's how all R+J stories go/should go if they're true adaptions.)

Sarah and r0derix make interesting points, but I have to quibble a bit with Sarah's idea that Tybalt could take over. He's a little too tainted by the old school, and a little too mad like his daddy (honestly I'm seeing a crazy people show down were Tyalt comes after the prince and Mercutio come between them somehow resulting in the deaths of all three). I see the marriage of Benvolio and Cordelia (a neutral noble and a quasi neutral commoner) as a symbol for a more egalitarian democratic beginning for Neo Verona.
I like the idea of two trees...although I also see them going with Romeo stuck as tree caretaker...the original play had the deaths of Romeo and Juliet as foundational events for a new era of peace between the families.

If both turned into trees... I love that idea!

Duh, she repeats that phrase again.
There is like 2 weeks delay in my recent reading list
I randomly bought discount/second hand manga with cute/mysterious cover.

Exactly.

This is supposed to be a tragedy; people should be dying left and right at this point. I understand they took the story to a new direction with this adaptation, but I would prefer a little more death.

Great episode! I actually really enjoyed it!

Benvolio and Cordelia > Romeo and Juliet
in my opinion.

Meh, the wedding was cute but isn't Cordelia older? I thought at the start Benvolio said he was 17 and Cordelia has to be about 5 years older than Juliet, which would make her 21ish.
Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!

The wedding felt like, why did this happen so randomly.
Also what happened to the burning village, they need to fix this transition.

I didn't expect Cordelia and Benvolio, let alone right away considering I thought she said after everything that was going on was over and it wasn't o_O

It was kinda sweet though I guess, although very random and unexpected.

Mercutio made me laugh lol. Bless, he's weird now.

First half was boring, but Juliets monologue was quite good and depressing.

Cordelia was pretty~ Such a chaotic time period for a wedding, but I guess good things can happen in the middle of it all :3

If they did it after the fight, Juliet might not be able to be there for Cordelia, so I guess I prefer a terrible timing wedding than one where she can't be there for her "big sister"

Agreed. I noticed that also. Wasn't shown how the fires were put out. Morning came and the fires were out lol.

The Duke wants the Town to be burned to the ground just as Romeo returns.
As the Town is Burning and the People are being Killed, they have a Wedding.
What!! Do they not really care??
Bored now.
