Hazuki is losing the best moments and I have bad feelings about this, especially for the future.

Viewers ought to consider the possibility that Shimao might actually win. If Rokka knew that Hazuki could be inhabited by Shimao, she would no doubt trade off Hazuki for Shimao probably in an instant. It's not out of the world to consider that Rokka might find out that Hazuki can see Shimao and believe him. Knowing this would be a game changer, Shimao might tell her if he inhabits Hazuki for longer or for a second time.

Quite unlikely, actually. This show is not dark enough to make Rokka ask for something that effectively erases the existence of Hazuki. Since Rokka has been dealing with memories of Shimao since the beginning (and vice versa), hinting at moving on as progress, it's unlikely for them to undo everything to the starting point. Also, consider the additional mermaid drawing Shimao added to his sketchbook. Of course there's always a possibility, but in stories like this, it is extremely low.

Actually, I think in a way Shimao is helping Rokka to move on in her life, albeit unwillingly.

For example when Shimao actually chastised her for using her inability to cope with husband's death as an excuse to prevent them from progressing in their (Hazuki and her) relationship.

Shimao seems to be more accepting of reality and Hazuki's and Rokka's relationship as the series progress, judging from his actions while in Hazuki's body.

All of this.

Please, somebody hold me, I don't know what to do with my feelings for this show anymore ;~;

I found this episode rather distasteful. I have a vlog about it if anyone wants to see why. Just my opinion though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3cU0wIIQMQ

Such a gripping episode... Shimao is actually really helping Rokka sort out her feelings... AND he's dealing with his too...

...but in all honesty, I'm ready for Hazuki to get his body back! :X

Not to sound crude... but I think Rokka chan needs to get laid... not just for the physical gratification, but because she needs to feel that physical intimacy and affection from a man who adores her. Her saying "I want to wash your back" and the flashback shows me that shes a physical person feel down and could use some physical affection.

This show is quality.

In all honesty, but Shimao is pissing me off so much, I just want to see him vanish into thin air right now.
Although what he's doing has the opposide effect, because instead of ruining the growing relationship Rokka and Hatzuki have he actually kinda helps them, I'm still annoyed to no end. He's so selfish, actively trying to sabotage Hazuki's life. No, it's not enough to try and ruin the relationship between him and your past wife, you also have to try and make his outlook apperance look as goofy as possible to the point that you're willing on spending your entire money on a silly glasses... they're too too expensive in the end, but he tried and after he couldn't buy them, he tried to cut his hair to look bad (and failed).

I was so shocked when he was actually trying to take advantage of Hazuki's body and Rokka's feeling to f*** Rokka. He didn't do it in the end, but... what the...? D: What was he thinking, this is another man's body for heaven's sake. >.<
He's been in Hazuki's body for way too long now and needs to get out of there as fast as possible. It's more than enough that he "steals" Hazuki's biggest moment, aka. the love confession from Rokka...

To be honest, I don't feel sorry for Shimao at all. I know that it's a very depressing situation he's in, seeing that his past wife is falling in love with another man, but the way he acts is not just plain childish and very rude towards Hazuki (who has been a lot nicer to Shimao than he deserves, really, who's the older one?), it's absolutely out of the question.

Sorry about the rant. XD I like this anime, it's just that I really want to see Hazuki being happy with Rokka and Shimao is doing everything that annoys the hell out of me. =P

I feel so damn bad for Shimao. At the last scene, I thought Rokka's somehow gonna tell Hazuki that Shimao's her first and would be her last, telling him to give up on her. Shimao's even blushing. But then... i didn't expect her to confess her love for Hazuki too....

;__;

I saw this as symbolic of Rokka falling in love. First she fell in love with Shimao, now Hazuki... It's love, she's just getting over Shimao. Right, it's right there and yet it's a symbol related to grief and past love.

Another bad episode. Must be frustrating when Hazuki will get his body back and has no idea what have happened since he was drunk.

Atsushi isn't beating around the bush, but maybe for the better since his words forced Rokka to reflect and she even confessed.

On the other hand, Hazuki not being able to be there when "his" relationship with Rokka is slowly taking shape, he's missing out for real and it's something you can't make up for.

"My husband was my first love, I think. So, I can say that Shimao-kun is the only person I ever really dated. ....I'm sorry, I love you too, Hazuki-kun."

I don't know how to feel when I hear Rokka's confession. On the one hand, I'm happy because this time Rokka is really moving forward, but on the other hand, I'm sad because it was Shimao who heard Rokka's confession, not Hazuki.

It's like... the timing isn't right. That's good progress, but the problem is that Hazuki is still in Shimao's world, and we don't know what Shimao will do with Hazuki's body after hearing Rokka's confession, and the saddest thing is that until the time of that confession Rokka still didn't know anything about what's going on.

Edit:

Aaaaah I suddenly feel annoyed!!! this really hurts everyone. When Rokka confessed her feelings, Hazuki couldn't hear it so automatically he didn't know that Rokka reciprocated his feelings. What will happen when Hazuki returns to his real life? would he look stupid for not knowing anything? he missed that important moment and it could also be that he could lost Rokka too (for not telling her that he could see her late husband). I also feel sorry for Rokka, she would be very sad if she knew that her late husband knew everything she did. And Shimao!!!! you doing all this will only end up hurting yourself more. I feel sorry for you but somehow I'm so mad.

I don't feel bad for Shimao, I feel like it's time for him to let go of Rokka. He basically doesn't exist anymore, what's the point of him monopolizing his wife as a ghost? If anything, I feel bad for Hazuki, guy has almost accepted the fact that he's always going to be 'the second option' and she will never get over her husband to be with him. She deserves to move forward in life and find happiness past Shimao.

I... really don't know how to feel about this anime
I'm enjoying it tho, it's just that I definitely relate to Shimao
It's just too sad, you can't do anything for your wife anymore plus she falls in love with another man
I know he's dead, but in Rokka's position I would never ever try to replace him, but that's just me I guess

The ghost husband might be bound by his wife's wish to never leave her side that's why he is a ghost. Maybe this is needed for them to both realize something and for both of them to be able to move forward like a closure. Hope they all find happy endings.
