Hmmm...wow...wow
I felt like it was too rushed @.@
but I'm suprised that Nozomu did go on a killing spree when Sumi left >.>
I like how babies just resolve everything lol
But it was nice to see that Nozomu was able to get over it.

Was it just be or was this story good in the beginning. Or was it the fact that I "grew older" as i read this. O.o

The ending was abominable. You have a whole manga where creepy Nozomu tries to pin her down EVEN when he learns they are siblings but suddenly when she escapes for the millionth time and his wife appears, he apparently found the light and everything is ok..... WHAT? WHATTTTTT? Everything that couldn't be done in a 56 chaps, it could be done in 1 JUST like that?

And in the end, I never understood why Sumi went along with the marriage in the first place after she learnt they were siblings as well. She could have spread it arnd and he could do NOTHING about since law is with her side. But instead all she could do was stand there frozen for no apparent reason.

I gave the manga a 6. It had started out good. Creepy Nozomu was interesting but the last 10 chapters were rly bad for me. They kept going from bad to worse to worst. Soichiro turned from the spoiled rich man to a strong awesome man to a coward that only knew how to worry. No wonder he lost everything when he was so useless towards the end. I miss the old Soichiro that was strong.

I'm so disappointed~

The last page was so cute but the chapter as a whole was horrible :/
I really liked reading this these past few years but I'm glad it's finally over.
Gave it a 6/10

Yay! Happy ending! And their child was just so cute. xD

The ending was obviously rushed but I'm still satisfied.

The ending was so rushed! Even another chapter would've probably made the ending a lot better! So many things left unexplained, and is left to the audience's assumptions...so does that mean Souchirou got his company back? And also after being so obsessed with Sumi, Nozomu's end to his 'obsession' seemed to be expressed/shown as being too light as compared to his portrayal of how obsessed was he previously.

I am happy for both Souchirou & Sumi and also Nozomu & Mio. Glad to see Nozomu and Mio have finally settled down!

Still, I must say I am quite disappointed with how the manga turned out. The beginning was especially good, but somewhere in the middle it all just went, well, haywire... :S

I don't think Nozomu deserved such a happy end. I think it would've been better for him if he went into exile or something.

I agree with a lot of the people here. The beginning of the manga started really well, but somewhere along the way the appeal just disappeared. It was still a very enjoyable manga, but something just wasn't clicking with me.

Very rushed at the end. There was a very nice paced buildup throughout the manga with chapter 56 being the climax, and then the series ends one chapter later. Definitely rushed the cool down. The characters were very typical and flat. The thing I liked the most about this manga was the tsundere and royalty aspect. In the end I give it a 7/10.

I feel like that last chapter was waaay to rushed! It left so many unanswered questions! Like why was Sumi abandoned when she was younger in the first place?! Atleast it was a happy ending, just wish it wasn't so rushed 8/10

Yeah it was a little bit unsatisfying for an ending, and don't like the sappy awww everyone in the series is happy at the end type of ending ... atleast Nozumu should have met with some type of calamity, but oh well, overall a decent series.

Well she wasn't actually abandoned. It was mentioned that she was kidnapped, and after the kidnapper received the ransom, she was left somewhere else (in the rose garden), and Eisuke found her.

Anyway, way too rush!!!!! It could span out to 60+ chapters, man.. 6/10 as well, could be better

The characters were stereotypical shoujo characters. The story-telling and buildup was pretty decent.
The ending was a disappointment; way too rushed. Everything else was pretty enjoyable.

Hard to believe Nozomu just fell in love with Miu there......And then had a baby too. That's definitely what I would call a rushed ending :/

Great start, Decent end.

Rushed as hell. And unbelievable, Nozomu actually just forgave what Miu did and fell for her? Wow, I'm speechless. This should of been longer as the latest few chapters were just dreadful to read.

At least Sumi got the person she loved though in the end rather than being blackmailed by Nozomu again. That's all.

Same, I believe that Nozomu should've died. That would have made the ending much much better. Also, I find it impossible to believe that Souichiro would just let Sumi marry someone else, especially when they were still basically married.

I really liked this manga [even with Nozomu being such a rapist, creep, like how did he keep getting away with everything???], but that ending was so rushed... I couldn't help but hate it [except for the sumi/sou reunion anyway]

7/10 [it gets a whole extra point bc at least sumi didn't marry her own bleedin' brother.]

So, my take on this ending, just like everyone else said, the ending was definitely rushed in a few ways. I also agree with AngelicTotoro that Nozomu should’ve died. Tbh it’s been a hot minute since I re-read the entire manga and I honestly thought he killed himself at the end. I didn’t remember the real ending lol. Either way, how can he possibly live on without Sumi?

With that said, he’s (still) mesmerized knowing that he will always have a connection to Sumi; even though he “promises” to never see her again, he’s also having a baby which he may use to bait Sumi in the near future, especially now that she opened an elementary school. He is using Miu to have babies with in hopes to reach Sumi. This is probably the direction Rinko Ueda was trying to insinuate but an extra chapter or two would’ve made the ending more complete. So I don’t agree with anyone who says Nozomu just “stopped” being obsessive with Sumi, that’s just not how it works. He’s never going to stop obsessing over Sumi. If my theory is correct, Nozomu will still do whatever it takes to be near her.

One thing I really did love about this manga was Soichiro’s character development. He literally gave up his rich life style for Sumi and began to put himself in a perspective of poverty to understand her and work twice as hard to be a better person. I hated him so much in the beginning with his misogynistic bullshit and abusive attitude; but when he began to release his past traumas, which gets validated by Sumi, this was the turning point where he begins to not take Sumi for granted. Both Sumi and Soichiro showed their triggers and were able to comfort each other, when they really didn’t have anyone to confide their triggers with in their upbringing. Sumi was the only person who tried to understand Soichiro despite his attitude.

I’m also questioning if anyone in this forum forgot that money is power in this story?
Did you guys forget that Nozomu has the power to literally destroy people? Soichiro is not going to just stop Sumi from “getting married” because Nozomu could’ve harmed Soichiro, like the few times he’s had already. And Nozomu has MONEY. Money has literally been a huge focus in the entirety of the manga and unfortunately money can control the lives of others. So to pin Soichiro as a “coward” is kind of a low blow considering how much he’s changed since the first volume.

And as for Sumi, her life has also been harmed by Nozomu, so she was victimized once again under his power so she couldn’t just run away easily. I am definitely seeing comments here victim blaming her for marrying him and it’s just really messed up. This is also the freaking 1800s and I can’t even imagine what little to no power women had back then. They had no voice. Sumi did not really have a voice except towards Soichiro.

For real, this manga was a 8/10 for me lol

I enjoyed it in the beginning but it gradually got bad and dark.  Hated the dark turn of Nozomu's character.
Glad that Souichirou and Sumi were together in the end.
