| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Superb episode once again. The characters and script are excellent, very Shirow-ish and close to the original material and the symbolism is great. People should definitely not judge this anime solely on the ugliness of the CGI and its bad animation because there's more to it than just this. |

| It *is* better then it looks, but i wonder why the do this CGI at all? Whats the point? It's looking weird. Final Fantasy went for the super realistic way with both The Spirits Within and Advent Children, and it did look great, they could do the same, if they have the people and the money to do it, if not, why not do it the traditonal way? Like the first movie? Or they could have reused the style from Ex Machina. But they decided to do it like this. Again, whats the point? Do theythink it it's looking better? Better fitting the style the world of Appleseed should have? Something like this? Or is this some sort of compromise because of the money problems/the original studio going bankrupt, and they wanted to do it better, but had to tone it down, and it was too late to do away with it? |

| Ah, I liked this episode! Much better than the previous two IMO. Aweh ... I liked that guy :( The bioroid with Deunan's father's DNA I mean ... I forget his name but ... OF COURSE HE HAD TO DIE THOUGH -_-" Interesting with them all committing suicide though ... I wonder how long they live without life extensions? Good to see Deunan trying to become stronger, but I thought this was also a good character development episode ... especially with Briareos :P Interesting at the end with the sniper. I wonder what that's all about? :O I want to know what the statue thing in the middle of the city with those gods (?) is all about ... and also those picturesque scenes (I dunno how else to describe them lol)! D: |
