| Wow. That was a special episode. Living together is a big deal and I'm glad this anime didn't treat it lightly. For Love's parents it's nearly the equivalent of adopting another child. The way it went though, you could tell long before it was shown that they had all already had a serious talk about it. Showing Setsuna what it's like to be in a loving family was awesome. I loved every bit of it. That was perfect. |

| Labyrinth literally looks like a motherboard, it's all programmed, seeing the world that was that from Setsuna's perspective was heartbreaking, everything is dull, already defined, without hopes for happiness or anything to look forward to. Love's mother couldn't help but go ask to that girl she never met before what was happening, the face Setsuna was doing wasn't just a sad one, it was of pure helplessness, her words made her go to the city, and right before getting there Setsuna saw the light she was looking to keep moving forward: Miki, Buki, and especially Love, the girl that despite everything that happened never stopped believing that they would be amazing friends. As if destiny played there, the girl Love's mother saw was the one her daugther was talking about asking for help, a girl that now had nowhere to go after being absolutely nothing for the place she was born in, rejected after failure, programmed to die. Becoming a Precure saved her from that fate and she now had the chance to see what was the warmth of a happy meal with a family, something she didn't know of and she was attacking as the ruler of her place made her do, Love's cheerfulness made everyone around her smile, and Setsuna smiled too, and she couldn't believe what just happened to her, the food was delicious, was that the happiness that people felt? Did she deserve that after all she did? "Step by step, you can redeem yourself", said Love's mother, and Setsuna started crying, and I sure as hell did too, after seeing her situation no one doubted about inviting her to live with them, this is the true start of Setsuna's life. This was beautiful and an amazing conclusion to this arc full of emotions, I have nothing but praise to say. |

| I liked Setsuna had to take time to come to terms with herself and others, and is still somewhat unsure. I liked Love and her parents playing up the idiot routine to try and help Setsuna feel welcome and at east. I also liked how Love's mother didn't give an answer to allowing Setsuna to stay with them immediately, but instead had dinner with Setsuna and the family first. Additionally, instead of Love's mother using the dinner to form an opinion of Setsuna, the dinner was used as an opportunity to confirm Setsuna's feelings, creating the focus on Setsuna herself, as well as ensuring her personal wants and needs are addressed. Character aside, I liked Cure Passion's method of introduction, as in previous Precure teams, there were always late addition that felt cursory to the proper team. At times, I felt they should have been fully fledged members, and at other times, they felt like third wheels tacked on at the end. Here, Fresh Precure mentioned early on that a 4th Precure would join, so now we have a proper addition that's not a third wheel. At least, I hope Passion gets included in the opening and transformation sequences. I wouldn't want a Milky Rose situation with her taking up episode time via extra stock footage sequences, or getting awkward placement in relation to the Precures' screen positioning. |
