Well, this was basically a first for this show. A nice Ghost Story.

I loved it! For once we get a haunted stuffed animal that loves and protects its owners insead of draining their life force or something. Paprika came in clutch!

I've seen a couple with helpful animal ghosts, but this was a standout.

Cat Report 5: Cherry was on my bed before jumping down to lick out my empty ice cream dish. Whenever she dies, I hope she doesn't possess a stuffed animal, even a nice one.

@towelgirl21 Yes, I have to agree. Not since that sad cat story, have I seen a better ghost story on this show. Good job Paprika!

Usually the animal based stories are the best of the series, I still remember Black Bean, and while I did like this one, I found it more goofy than wholesome or scary lol, I found that whole scene of Paprika scaring off the burglars to be pretty silly, although I’m very surprised the burglars made it out of that alive, I thought for sure they were going to be devoured.

But like I said, I did like this one, the story itself is wholesome with the dude’s childhood pet saving his family in the present, also I did kinda get spooked by the sight of the burglar in the kid’s room because I wasn’t expecting that with the way the ghost dog was being set up, really seeing a burglar is a scarier sight than any kind of ghost because that’s a realistic thing to be afraid of.

Also for anyone else looking for the full ED like I was, here it is, and man the full version slaps https://youtu.be/C4BfE9c7ZWI?si=M49WZdW9irzqV6Eo

Yoooo wtf?
I mean I guess it's fine if you're actually an animal person, but I'm not. I mean keeping it is kinda the only option, but there ain't no way I'd be kinda terrified of that.

Was expecting this to go the direction of resentment from being neglected. I guess this counts as one of the heartwarming episodes?

That robber reveal had some real nice horror atmosphere. Man, too much fluff in the exposition though. Instead they should have used that time for some fakeout of the stuffed animal being malevolent before saving the day.

Oh, wow. This one was so different than most (all?) other Yami Shibai episodes. Even the art in this one looked different than what we are used to. I liked the show mixing it up with a "wholesome" monster episode. Kind of cool and definitely unexpected.

I liked this one, but the art style was odd.
Animals are always so loyal, it reminded me of the story of the ghost cat with its owner.

@towelgirl21 It was wholesome, I feard that Paprika might attck it's owner but I am glad it did not.
