| @Cammedham What's even more strange is that this is Project No.9, they seemed to fumble nearly everything they've been given either adaption wise, animation wise, or often both. Just guessing here but maybe the fact that most of this shows staff are in house project 9 staff may have something to do with it. It's a lot easier and more efficient to produce good looking animation when most of it isn't outsourced. Or it could be they got a much better time frame and budget to work with than usual. Either way if this is one of their first big successes I wouldn't mind as Ameku Takao is much more interesting than all the other shows they've made so far. |

| @Cammedham I wouldn’t call Project No.9 amateur, they’ve been around over 10 years now, they haven’t been doing studio work quite as long though. Like most studios they likely started out doing contract work I’d presume. But many of their past anime had average to mediocre animation at best. It’s very possible they already have talented staff and this project just lets them bring out that talent more due to budget or whatever. Who really knows, either way I’m glad this one’s turning out with better production than their average project so far. |
