Sengoku Youko left an impact that will stick with me forever. The cast, storytelling, and battles were elite, I believe this anime deserved way more attention than it received, and definitely higher ratings. I will miss this series and was wondering who fans would choose as their favorite character.
I’d say 1. Shinsuke (s-tier development) 2. Shakuyaku 3. Tama 4. Douren 5. Yoshiteru

Shaku was kindest and most caring character despite her extreme power. She really deserved to live in peace, that was some good writing.

I was wondering the same thing. This was my only complaint of the finale that we didn’t see Shinsuke one more time after that fight or get confirmation about those two. On one hand, I feel it was implied that they were all along, but on the other, it was confirmed for the other two couples and not them.. maybe it was left up for interpretation?

I would’ve been fine with just a quick scene of them sitting together or something. I wonder if it’s confirmed in the manga? Either way I’ll just consider them together. I just remember how sad the events around Shaku in the first season were and I was happy that she came back. Such a great story!

My favorite character is Jinka-sama, sadly after episode 1, the attention was focused in others but I can understand why.
But I love everyone, specially Jinka, Shinsuke,Tama and Shaku, the four that started everything.

@CHT13 I think they end up together because she was living with Shinsuke and both had the name of Kazamatsuri Family.
But sadly they don´t show their happy moments.

I think is implied with the scene that Senya remembered with her leaning towards Shinsuke´s shoulder, that they were together. And in the group pic in the end, they were next to each other.
Not to mention Shinsuke changed the name and in the grave it was written "Kazamatsuri family" even tough Shakugan was alone.
