I swear if I had to deal with Tonbo's caddie when I was playing tournaments I would have reported him to the club within 30 minutes. Screaming while on course while the golfer is about to take their shots and all of that is unacceptable.
| @Zimzky yeah, that caddy is the most ruining for the anime and story for me atleast, as a caddy would never behave like that and not a aspiring pro golfer at that. A caddy is there to help the golfer if they want it, else they just carry the bag so the golfer can focus on the game. I am surprised none of the other caddy's do not tell him to shut the f up, take they come from the same club, it is very unrealistic that he keep behave like that and none tells him to stfu it or he get swapped. |
| What Hinoki admitted was better than nothing. That was an incredible par 5 for Ema, she got an Eagle and Tsubara messed up. I am starting to like the caddy, all of a sudden he realizes Tonbo's golf is a good way to play. That was an incredible shot to end the episode. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens in the final holes. |

| At this point, Tonbo's playing is riling caddy-in-training Nikki in all of the wrong ways, but his change of heart, and also knowing what she's here for, he doesn't really need to give her anymore advice for the final holes. This is pretty much the same for Hinoki, Ema and Tsubara catching up and further in their scores as much as possible. Being in her first competition, Tonbo may have it easy for the majority of holes, but going towards the end, the pressure mounts on her on the thought of winning the Open for real. And after the long while of playing golf for fun, the "want" to win will eventually catch on to her, and every stroke from now on, makes a big difference in her score. Ganbatte Tonbo, you're one step closer to the realization to win. |
