| in hindsight i'm not surprised any more this plot arrived this soon, remembering some flashback inconsistencies happened with the original series and deviated from the manga adaptation. To be honest i've never been a big fan of this arc, it's not that i hate Mikado and Azusa if they can be annoying at times, and now i can't even recall if they appeared again later except for a original-plot OVA... and as much as i always enjoyed Lanbada Ranma ED song, there were so many characters before them that deserved to be name-checked in their place by importance and bigger screentime. Apart from this, didn't expect or forgot the sort-of first (stolen) kiss and Ranma's two friends interrogating him about his obvious similarity with the redhead pig-tailed girl sharing his same name, a scene that made me laugh a little. |

| Ranma's first and to have it with that douche? Yeah, certainly an embarrassing and depressing event all things considered. I mean, we're talking about some womanizer who tried to steal a kiss from the one he isn't sure he likes but certainly cares about. Such a close call for a kiss between him and Akane as well but yeah, it's still a bit too soon for that. |

| Well I sure wasn't expecting THAT to happen. And then at the end, probably no one is expecting them to actually kiss, but at least it was for a good reason instead of the typical interruption we usually get. Ranma himself just backs down, not wanting to take something special away from Akane. And hey it's also quite surprising to see them actually TRY to do it, something that I for one wouldn't expect so soon from two characters who hate, or, 'hate', each other. |

| If somehow we would've gotten a kiss from both of them here itself, this show might have become a ten automatically. Though of course, that is not happening, or never happening, anytime soon. Anyway, when is this P-chan getting off the screen? I'm again asking. |

| Somehow, everything in this show has to be solved with a challenge, and every sport needs to have martial arts in it. Poor Ranma, he managed to win the match, but at what cost. At least he got a little closer to Akane, and she’s starting to show her feelings for him too. |
| A couple of annoying ice skaters... I mean Ryouga is basically Charlotte now lol but the guy kissed Ranma ahaha (in his girl form though obviously)... now he's mad and I can understand that, better beat him in ice skating but he still didn't learn it xD |

| Azusa Shiratori and Mikado Sanzenin make their first appearance! And P-chan, or Charlotte, is going to be the prize as Azusa challenges Akane to a pairs figure skating martial arts battle. Of course, Mikado is Azusa's partner and Ranma is Akane's, as he kind of challenges Mikado. While there's plenty of action, such as Ranma defeating Mikado after the latter kisses the former (Ranma's first kiss, but as a girl!), the biggest thing here is the furthering of the relationship between Ranma and Akane. They almost kiss. That scene was done so well! It was basically a challenge, but they were very shy about it. Ranma stopped, but suggested they do it with someone they actually like... but Ranma kind of admits he's willing to try if Akane is willing. Oh my. But then, everyone was watching, and they were so embarrassed! Loved this episode! |
