| Oh we might be in for some spicy twists soon. The Sword Bearers possibly not being the heroes we thought they were (kind of expected, ngl), Samura making a pact with Yura, potentially making my goat a traitor, Hokazono what have you got stirring in the pot right now. And now Hiruhiko got his hands (lol) on Kumeyuri? Implying that Uruha was off-screened, oh lord. Maybe that's the pact Samura made with Yura, he gets Tobimune back and then vows to kill the other Sword Bearers. A lot to unpack this chapter, that's for sure. |

| Uruha is there in this chapter till halfway through, but then yeah, with that weird guy using Kumeyuri in the end, it'd mean only one thing. Don't tell me Samura killed him and everyone else as well right there, right then when he said this is just the start. Damn.. NO! |

| This did feel a little like information overload but I think that was the point given how Chihiro seems caught up in it all. Samura betrayal was surprising though but i do like that the series is leaning into what i always wanted it to do which is the sword bearers are not the good guys. |

I guess something bad happened to Uruha, let’s hope he’s not dead. I honestly feel really bad for the rookie who died 3 days in… hurts my heart 😭 |

| That was a marvelous chapter, goated art as usual. Especially loved that page with the origami above and below the close up on Chihiro beside that Hokazono piece with the sword in his mouth. I feel bad for the family that has to look out for the sword bearers, but at the very least their death isn't in vain! Dialogue heavy chapter, but its flow hit oh so well, great fucking chapter! |

| So there is a possibility of conspiracy, with Samura being a mole?! Uruha might be in a grave danger if Samura will reveal himself as a traitor. No one will be able to stop Samura, who's wielding his enchanted blade, from killing Uruha. Damn, a lot of twists were teased in this chapter. I wonder how many of them will actually happen. I want to believe that Hiruhiko's revelations were just an attempt to buy time and distract Chihiro by overloading him with confusing info, but given how Hiruhiko is obsessed about Chihiro, I doubt he lied. At least when it comes to general information he shared. Hiruhiko's technique of grabbing a sword in his mouth looked epic, lol. But let's not forget that it's one of enchanted blades. The one which belongs to Uruha who can be the first sword bearer to be killed by Samura, if Samura will really betray everyone. This chapter was sooo good. I didn't think the situation on Chihiro's end would complicate in that way. |

| If they didn't kill off Samura the only other path was...yeah him being part of the villains. So Samura was working with them and this whole farce was to get his katana back. He killed Uruha too and now the new guy has Kumeyuri. |
