well the movie has really good music and good voice acting which imo made it more impactful...

manga is one shot and movie is short too

manga is really good too so you can do both .
don't need comparison .

like we can compare if manga is big example I want to eat your pancreas which has like ig 10 chapters while movie is for 1 or 2 hours only.

The characters in manga version of IWTEYP look childish which makes the story a lot less impactful imo

@BipulGamer07 youre right.. I feel same for that

That's why I like movie more than iwteyp manga .. also that's why I said we can compare iwteyp because manga is little big and movie is like one go movie so for that we can compare which would be better to watch or read . But for look back even manga is short so we can read and watch both because both are good.

I've read look back and I really liked that manga that's why I'm yapping lol

well what media impacts you most ...That should be it...Both are great...
i prefer Manga cause it had more impact on me...but as a new watcher movie should be a get go

I've seen both the movie and the manga and both were good. However, I feel that the movie is some of its goodness is diminished if you watch it at home on a video streaming service, etc. instead of seeing it in a movie theater.

Both. Absolutely both. The manga is only 144 pages, and the movie doesn't even break the 60 minute mark. You can finish both in under 2 hours.

I haven't watch the movie yet but you should read it regardless. Tatsuki Fujimoto is brilliant manga artist and it's a shame to not read his works if you enjoy the movie. It's like 180 pages so it's not a lot. Start with your prefer medium then read/watch the other one again.

I'm still looking forward to watch the movie. If it's as good as people tell it is (which I have no doubt about it) then I'll be very glab.

you should consume both but the movie is better, only made me appreciate the oneshot even more.
