| Tonbo as always happy with whatever she gets, in this sport that being humble is a rare trait, apparently. When you enter a competition thinking the 2nd place is achievable, but then the champion greet the new girl like an equal. I hope that will a good competition, and not have that fluke trope, that many, but so many sports anime have. |

| Great job by Tonbo putting in the effort to get the required handicap in so little time. I really like how people keep giving her golf equipment. I am really looking forward to seeing this tournament play out, great to se Tsubara again. |

Finally someone who can fully appreciate just how terrifying Tonbo could potentially be with 7 clubs xD Tsubura even stating that Tonbo might steal her title away infront of the other players was the icing on the cake for me! Also love how Tonbo keeps collection more clubs as well as golf equipment like infinity stones xD |

| The Kyushu Women's Open being the next milestone for Tonbo, aside from juggling school and time to complete the Chuo Country Club course, Hajime makes an exception for her, and the scores get better and the students having to run the miles alongside her for days on end. That said, Tonbo's first real competition is wild, and to meet Udo's daughter Nikome who couldn't make the cut for the Open, family is a stint for her. Despite Nikome's haphazard skills leaning her going back to basics, Tonbo catches on and works with her, while being prepped for appropriate clothes as well. This is unlike Hinoki, who has to abide by her father's every word haivng new clubs that she can pass it on to Tonbo to use for her bidding. Furthermore, with Hajime slipping in the 6-iron, Tonbo using Nikome's technique and slowly acquiring the set needed for the competition itself, slowly making the cut with half the set available. Seeing Tsubura again makes the atmosphere livelier, because she knows that Tonbo IS competition, and the first competition she participates in, will set the precedence for the Open. |
