| We expected next Kaiju no 8, but we got next Chainsaw man (to some degree) Father is most likely dead but in the same time he was fighting alone (less known) Warp type beast and especially beast itself runned away instead of just being killed suggest some type of twist where father survived somehow. At least Captain didn't looked happy killing him so suggest he will be part of the plot revealing truth behind Father death and presumably of many others. Other twist could be that those beast are artificially created and exists to perpetually fund their organization. |

| Wow. I wasn’t expecting him to actually die, but I appreciate the plot twist (especially so early). I am 100% hooked now, I can’t wait to see the plot unfold. Looks like we’ve once again been gifted with peak writing. |

| this is pretty solid tbh, so far the best new series in a while. that end gutted me, is the dad's story really over? are we gonna have the son become the protagonist now? either way, i'm so here for it. also the dad hitting clarity was pretty touching. |
