there were some things in this episode that were imo predictable, for example that the girl with pink hair prefers to choose Sensei out of the all options lol. But the happy ending to this episode was cute💕

Oh man, I simply loved this anime, and this is because the construction of the protagonist is incredible. Everything about him is cool: the style, the deprecation, and the fact that he is a writer. The anime gets it right in the comedy and melancholy.

just let bro die in peace people, ok, jokes aside in its first ep it broken so many clichés of isakai,the main character is actually underpower for once and I love the comedy man it hits everytime and it gets serious when it needs to, I am really excited to watch more eps of this one and I will even say this is the best isakei of this season...

This show has an uphill battle coming. At what point do the suicide jokes start to get old? I get that it’s gimmick of the show. I just don’t know how I’m going to feel in 4 more weeks. I can’t force a laugh. But for now, this episode was good too. I like the characters.

The best thing about this anime are the references to the book, I thought it was very genius to put the interpretation of how the dazai has this way of living, like him "never asked someone else to choose how he should live" and when even though he is in this pitiful and suicidal state, he still asks women what worries them, just like in the book.
I'm loving the anime, all this is shown in a mix of plot, shounen fights and even character development

Good ep, but... That minotaur attack was funny, I mean, he charged, the protagonist spent 1 minute talking and when he finished the minotaur was in the same place, like, ok...

King looks more like a clown.
Sensei has guts. But maybe he was just speaking to king in such a way because he isn't afraid of death or torture.

Why tf that elf lady calling him Sensei now ?

Gomez was a demon all along, now that was hilarious

So many of this season's anime are trash, and this one fits right in with them. (IMO, Summer 2024 anime season is one of weakest we've had in a long time).

So disappointed with this though as this was THE anime I was looking forward to the most -- Dazai in another world -- and, all we got was a badly-written, not funny, not interesting anime featuring over the top annoying characters, while Dazai is nothing more than a cardboard cutout who hasn't said or done one interesting or thought-provoking thing since he first appeared.

Even the desperate to commit suicide theme isn't humorous.

Couldn't hate this more.

Good episode, quite predictable some things like who the princess was going to choose or that she really didn't want to die she simply wanted her opinion to be heard by her father
It's funny to me that the teacher still wants to kill himself and at the same time it's incoherent, because in *theory* from what he said before...he wants to die with his lover and suddenly he does this, it's like XD
Gomez ended up giving himself away... Clap Clap Clap the best soldier but it seems that his strength is only muscular

PS: I liked the surprise at the end of the episode, I didn't expect that... I wonder if it will be something serious or it will turn to comedy or both

PS2: Listen to both the OP and the ED, they are fine... nothing WOW

I still don't care for the world building, the side characters and or much else than the humor. I knew where the jokes were going to go, saying the jokes before the main character does but that being said his humor is up my alley.

I love the fact he talks about drowning himself and ending his own life along with the fact of the dynamics for the humor between his harem.

Outside of the main character I don't care for the other characters. The main character is quite relatable in the fact he felt like he was a burden on those around him and that I can resonate with.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing I can relate so much with a guy wanting to kill himself a lot. Considering I've made jokes about game ending myself as well in the same manor.

Even if it's predictable it's still enjoyable.
