| @alpha_shadow I agree with the notion of never underestimating any studio, because with the right staff (animation producer and director + connections) and time, most can do great things. I do hope Raise Wa Tanin Ga Ii turns out great though, but the different between Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju and this, it is that the former had Mamoru Hatakeyama as a director (he usually also does a lot of storyboarding for most the series he directs). Also, Mamoru Hatakeyama was able to bring a lot of the people he usually work with on board the project (animation directors, episode directors, etc), which helped a lot. I'm not sure Toshifumi Kawase (not to familiar with him either) will able to do that as well, but lets hope for the best. |

| The fact that Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju is getting brought up really piques my interest. I haven't read the manga, but the premise sounds quite fun and yakuza/delinquent stories have always bee a guilty pleasure of mine. Looking forward to this one! |
| I like the hard lines, in which characters are drawn. Reminds me of Kaiji. Now I just hope that the whole Yakuza-Underworld theme isn't swept under a load of Moe and "We almost kissed" -Scenes. |
