| Got to see Ruka's past as a child and when he awakened as a vampire. I guess back then, he couldn't control his vampire urges as well as today. No wonder he knew Mito even from back then. So much talk about fate and destiny though. Ren didn't hold back talking his feelings for Mito. |

| i already hate ren's parents and it gotten worse in this episode. and ren! how tf you manage to let your shit father manipulate you so easily in this episode?! i know you have feelings for mito, but bruh, you should know/hated your father well enough to suspect even a little bit he's up to something extremely fishy. ruka, we're all annoyed by now that for the life of us can't even figure out mito is IN FACT a woman and your goddamn destined one. ren's mom was able to figure it out in seconds after meeting her. freaking idjits. thx juri for being best man in this episode |

| This is such a mess, but Ren get's a fat L from me for constantly breaking consent rules and not even asking Mito her feelings on the matter. I think she'll be fine, but that's wild how she is now a man. Which means there is no fated partner for Ruka anymore right? So also no fated partner for Ren to steal? Also Ren's mom seems very mentally unwell and his dad is clearly evil. Komori is so confusing on what his knowledge and goal is. 4/5 because got to see Mito's bare chest and Juri/Mito matching wearing overall weird. Almost forgot to add from early in episode ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? RUKA SUCKED MITO'S BLOOD AS A LITTLE KID AND SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER????? |

| The Summer break is over and the Fall semester is in, and the boys café is undergoing renovation with Komori wanting to spruce things up. With the cutting of costs however, he intends for the renovation to be a DIY project, and as more of Mito is allowed to be shared, what's not is changing in front of everyone, which Ren immediately protects Mito. This however, creates the scenario that Ruka, Ren and Mito has to go and buy paint, a scenario of which Ruka is reminded of Mito being a girl, this unfortunately lets Ren know that Mito is Ruka's destined partner. This is something that Ren is fortunately in the know thanks to his parents, and since he's the only one who knows her secret, it must still be kept a tightly guarded one. Sleeping in the cafe at intervals, Mito finds herself resting with Ruka and Ren, which the former quickly interrogates her about his "destined partner", though he is always open to Mito by his side even if it was some other girl (which is not the case), and Ren disproving his point with a date. The café is renovated, but Ren and Ruka's rivalry doesn't let up. Ren's date to bring Mito to his mother's parents' house for his 17th birthday, her mother instinctively knows since she's also a vampire's destined partner to Ren's father, and since they're a family of dhampirs, Mito technically is still being wedded to a vampire family. This however, which Komori has received the invitation to alongside Ruka, and Mito is captured for the sense that Ren could become the leader of the vampire world. Ruka still thinking that Mito is a boy...attempts to dress her down, not knowing that Mito has turned into a boy, a real man. Boy, what a twist that is for a dhampir's special power. |

| 1. ren trying to ntr mito what a king idc idc i'm too far in to back out now. 2. ren's mom is literally the biggest pick me to ever exist saying idgaf about my kid or parents i just wanted to be with my man... MA'AM??? THAT'S WILD??? 3. also i think ruka meeting mito as a kid and biting her is so weird. how in the actual hell would mito not remember that like the passing out doesn't even even explain it cause ruka confessed to being a vampire 5 seconds into meeting and the entire encounter you're saying she just so happened to not remember shit? 4. this is so weird and forced to make ren evil like he hates vampires cause of his dad he hasn't been to the place in 10 years his parents literally fucked off and left his ass as a child and he seems even less invested into the "land of the vampires" politics than ruka is. but his dad successfully manipulates him in 5 seconds. like i don't even think he'd listen to his dad about mito. 5. ruka left such a bad taste in my mouth with that convo about "still being by my side even when i get with my destined partner"... like yes, mito IS his destined partner so this would not be a real problem. but it is the fact that this mf's brain is made of lead with how dense he is and still 100% thinks mito is a guy. therefore, he is quite literally asking mito to be his side piece. he says "best friend" but they've been doing what from his perspective is gay shit this whole time. the blood drinking is sexually charged and they've kissed, he's down BAD for mito. for me it's the principle of it, the fact that you have someone and you'd just be greedy to have "everyone" instead. like i said yes in reality there is only one person but that is so fucking weird to say. 6. NOT REN'S WISH BEING TO INVOKE THE POWERS OF HIM BEING BI TO MAKE MITO A BOY FOREVER LOLLLLLLLL. i can NOT believe this is actually real. what kind of story even is this. 7. i still think this series would've been a bit more interesting being an actual bl with the destined partner thing, the whole "you gotta be straight tho it's destiny" is just...comically unserious. 8. also i thought it was odd to have some semi-generic sideplot start to the episode considering we're 9 episodes in and still have major plot points that need to be worked on but i guess it had to be something to get ruka to take his shirt off and mito to fail even making a trip to home depot without almost dying and having to be saved...the way i would leave her ass at home tbh like she really cannot do ANYTHING. |
