I think Tinasha is conflicted with herself as to whether or not she will marry Oscar but I'm glad that they worked out their differences and fought Miralys together although too bad they didn't sleep together.

I'm quite liking the general direction of the plot but this must be one of the most rushed shows in anime history. Literally nothing gets fleshed out

A bad dream from Tinasha's past, and the relentless interference from Oscar's father to find a potential bride for him, Miralys is one...which he didn't want to convene to, but is forced to. Meanwhile, Tinasha helping to decode the Witch of Silence's intricate curse for Oscar, and loathing through the potential brides who could overpower the curse, there's none potentially suited as Witches, and Tinasha working with Als, only to get the jealousy of Oscar being seen together, what a mess.

Still, Oscar chooses to fixate on Tinasha so as to rid Miralys given her suspicious origins, and he chooses to do that within the King's chambers to expose her in broad daylight of her real motives, despite Tinasha intitally losing her left eye to begin with. The red orb that absorbed Miralus's soul, Oscar may never know what his mother's memento is for, but what matters is that he'll never let her go.

The anime is just botched at this point, it's taking me OUT of the experience of the refined source material.

The main issue with this anime adaptation is that somehow it can be baffling how Oscar and Tinasha is extremely chummy with each other in just 5 episodes (they are barely with each other for less than half a year by this episode from the looks of it). What I heard and from what I see from the manga adaptation is that the anime skipped out too much material from the source.
The development of Oscar and Tinasha's relationship by this point in the story was supposed to have gone through much more than what the earlier episodes showed. With the anime skipping so much content, it gives me the impression that their relationship right now is still so shallow than what it should already be. Right now in this episode, Oscar just seems like a spoiled brat who just wants to take Tinasha for himself, but in the source material, they should've gone through much more than what was already shown - and it actually feels this does not even deserve the romance tag.

So after taking care of their inside enemy, more questions come to oscar & Tinasha about the outsider's motive.

Ok, what the hell is wrong with Oscar? That's his idea of a joke? Cutting off her magic, overpowering her, and carrying her to bed? Not sure I'm going to finish this one :/

Jesus Christ, the time skips are just horrendous. In one moment princeling speaks with Tinasha and a second later he talks about not having seen her in a week.

It's just skip after skip without anything at all happening in between.

The main character is literaly trash. And their relation makles no sense, since he wanted to make her a slave and then she was happily sitted down on him.

Don't waste your time in this anime, please. I beg you.

Thank you very much for reading. 😄

wtf is that start. she was being carried by some guy, which weirded me out, but it was only a dream. Then there's this scene where after a few seconds, without sny kind of transition, one week has passed.

The battle scene is great for an ENGI show, but we do not know yet why Miralys wanted to steal that orb or if she is working for someone.

I do enjoy this anime a great deal, but their relationship is taking forever to develop at all. Not to mention, it all seems to be unilateral.

Tinasha and Oscar development is quite rapid - they went through serious trust issues this quickly already

The MC's persistence with his advances on Tinasha and especially his threat of sexual assault in this episode are honestly really offputting. Dropping this series because the dude is an asshole regardless of the rest of his character. Imagine if you have a friend who's really cool and great and stuff but pressures women into sex - I wouldn't keep being friends with them, would you? Blegh.

Did i miss something? Or did the anime skip an explanation?

Why is this arrrogant prick ever since the begining treating the "almighty witch" as if she is his slave?
And why is said witch constantly apologizing and acting like a scolded child?

And i'm not even talking about the "joke".

Man, I wish this was adapted better. What a shame.

Oscar is the dumbest he's ever been in this episode. The fuck was he trying to do when he restrained Tinasha and carried her to bed? And after all that mess, he still kept the restrain on her.

Reading these comments warms my heart. Glad I'm not the only one dropping this show because of Oscar's "joke".
