The author of the light novel this anime is adapted from, Yuki Yaku, wrote the script and series composition for the original anime Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai/Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night that starts on April 7th for the Spring 2024 anime season.

Compare to first season this season was boring. But It's okay to me. Nothing way exiting happen this season.

Watch ep 1 to refresh memory and skip to 7, that’s when the story truly progresses.
The only bad thing about animes is the filling.

I'll give it a try, if it's something that interests me. Will check it out later that what it's about. I really do like Tomozaki-kun, so I at least gotta give it a try if it's by the same author.

I enjoyed the S2 of Tomozaki-kun. It was interesting at first, got a little slow in the middle with Hanabi's arc, but then got interesting again with Kikuchi's arc and I've just really liked it from there. I wasn't really bored watching it like many. It was still a good season for me. Would really love another season of it.

@bezardo No problem!

I enjoy BokuYaba for what it is. Pure diabetes. My reviews and scores reflect this.

If I was forced to pick 1 to drop, BokuYaba or Tomozaki, you would think BokuYaba was a grenade with how fast I let it go lol. There are dozens of light hearted romance stories that come out in anime every few years. It is much easier to find something similar to BokuYaba than to Tomozaki, which has a much more interesting story, characters, themes, etc. that has a ton more rewatch value to me.

@Mr-Yuki The source material is ongoing and there is enough content to make a 3rd season. Just depends on how much money they make off of season 2.

@Levi1108 Yeah, I thought the bullying arc was the least interesting arc too. It is necessary to the story but was also the weakest arc imo.

I really enjoyed the content after it too. Hopefully we can see more of the series get animated so we can meet some new characters and watch Tomozaki further develop himself.

Yes, fs. I also really want to know just what is up with Aoi? She's mysterious, we don't know much about her. That's one of the parts I'm really interested in about the series.

I was 100% a defender of this anime until the last 3 eps. The confession scene was so forced it actually hurt. It’s surprising, I’ve seen like 300 romance anime and like this is the only meh confession I’ve seen. It’s not a BAD anime, but they fumbled a wee bit. Hope people enjoyed it though
The right mindset when watching an anime is hoping that it will break your top 10

@Levi1108 Yep. We got a few hints on it this season but a 3rd season will definitely focus more on both Aoi as well as Tackfam than this season did.
