Hey, I didn't mean to not respond for 8 months, sorry about that I just kept telling myself I'd reply later, or that I'd reply when I had notes for everything I watched. I have note sections for a lot of the anime in my list if you still want my opinions, though I'm not very diligent about writing them or about their content. I don't really do reviews because I'm not a big fan of writing in that format nor do I think It's even warranted unless I'm making a case for a show that's small enough no one else would've written my point for me.
Sorry about brushing you off like that, wasn't my intention.
The idea of Aldonoah Zero was good, and tbh it almost got me in the first half, before i noticed what it was aiming at. The writing was not present and.. not sure if you noticed it, but have you seen HOW often they used the Main Theme? We made already jokes about the protagonist taking a spoon in his hand and the main theme starting to play.
I mean uuuuuuuhhhh, i kinda liked the secondary protagonist and his more evil Plot line. But the Anime Jesus Protagonist who probably can defeat Goku in his Training Robot was far to much for me.
But seriously, can you tell me what kind of shows you like? Your list is really tricky to understand. Sometimes there are two similar shows but one is scored high while the other is on the Floor, despite hard similarities
I am not sure, but i have the feeling you are trying to find things, which aren't even here.
With Spy x Family, you were looking for a serious plot, even though it was mostly just a parody comedy. You even divided the world into "Westalia and Eastalia" to make it as blunt as possible. Yor can pulverize walls because "reasons" a 9 year old can throw a ball at Mach 2 and destroy trees. In the show, almost nothing makes sense to make it stupid and nonsensical, as in most comedies.
Or even Sora Yori mo, you didn't find the slice of life tag because by definition it's not actually a slice of life anime. At least it possessed a direction and each episode brought it more and more to its goal. Since this isn't a Slice of Life, it doesn't fit the genre either.
Looked at your list and taste and really can't figure it out. What exactly do you like? At first I thought you liked more "drama" but that doesn't seem to be the case either. Or are you a fan of dynamic shows? Otherwise I can't figure out why you like Aldonoah Zero, which is top 3 worst mecha in existence.
i'll have to say, even though i disagree with your spy x family review, your taste is actually amazing! i agree with most of your ratings for tv shows, veryy good taste
