This Eva is a mysterious character...no wonder Makoto is catuious around her. We also got to know more about experiments this episode, a darker side of their world.

Root seems like a playful character but someone hard to trust. Makoto is also wary of him although he seems easier to talk to compared to Eva.

Lime finally gets to show what he can do.

Lime, who embarked on an investigation into clandestine human experiments allegedly taking place in Rotsgard, finds himself defeated when he confronts a mysterious man encountered in the newly developed section of Rotsgard Central Academy. Furthermore, he and Eva, the librarian of the academy who happened to be present at the scene, are captured by an underground organization conducting human experiments. After managing to escape, the two reunite with Tomoe. Eva, now under the protection of Kuzunoha Trading Company, reveals a certain secret about her true parents and herself.

Thanks to Lime helping Eva, we now know about Makoto's parents and their homeland destroyed by demons. Root isn't afraid of Makoto, hinting at a stronger presence. Though Tomoe claims to be the strongest dragon, his power level remains uncertain. The world's system seems geared towards controlling humans, reflecting the goddess's nature. It's interesting that others have entered this world at different times.

But if Makoto can move between worlds, how hard is it to solve the problem of mortality?

Btw Makoto really often talks in the style of Japanese poetry, like his first lines in this episode and at 20:05.
Kirito!
I feel like the ending us foreshadowing.
There was sure a lot of information packed in this episode.

Perverted dragon Root is here, though I was honestly expecting him to be more zesty than he was in the anime with his advances on Makoto. Though still a peak episode

Luto?
Lmao!! I thought Japanese did not have any pronunciation for L and it was always pronounced as Ru (る or ル ) as in Ruto (ルト). I'm very surprised they changed it to Luto!! I'd really appreciate if anyone familiar with Japanese could correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyways, a good build up episode. The big daddy dragon makes his appearance and we finally know more about Makoto's parents. Not only that, but we get more info on the entire adventurer guild's card system and how it wss inspired by the game logic from Makoto's world, 1000 years ago and how there is a huge time distortion between the two worlds.

Annoyingly so.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

So basically he could teleport back but he would not be able to pinpoint where in its orbit the earth is.
Mmm...I think with his current powers he would have no issue surviving in open space and flying to earth anyway.

@FullyCharged Not only position-wise, remember what Root says, the time progress differently between the two worlds. For all we know he would be TP'd randomly into the Cretaceous period or further into the distant future instead.

BTW, Root's lecture/explanation is basically supposed to be some kind of high level theoretical sci-fi cosmology/physics. So yeah, Makoto is lost somewhere in the middle....

yea, Lime became much stronger since he's now part of Tomoe "Family", even Root respect him cuz Lime can give a minor damage to him, and i kinda know how Tomoe feeling about Makoto lifespan, i mean for her Age just a number, she can live as long as she wants, but Makoto on the otherside is a Human with a short Lifespan, and She didn't want to see His Master die before Her, i respect that.

It’s like a mix of R and L. It’s not technically the same as English. Technically the r and L sounds don’t exist.. kinda hard to explain but imagine a mix of the two. That’s why both spellings are correct.

Lot of interesting lore and mechanics dropped in this one! Lute, the horny sex changing dragon dropped a lot important stuff on Makoto. Time moving differently in both worlds means Makoto going home isn’t as easy as it sounds.. for all we know he could get teleported into the dinosaur era.

But what if there’s another option besides staying and going? Being able to freely go between both worlds.. but how?

Oof it was a very confusing episode for me this time, the way it was presented in a flashback even though it happened 30s before that, I find it strange.

Also the whole organization thing too developped too fast in my opinion, many things that are just straight up skipped like how they got out, and how the girl got out with him

@V1P3R0P You have to consider that it's a fantasy world, they're not actually speaking Japanese, It's just dubbed for convenience. I think the translator just messed up, though, because everyone here is calling him "Root"

This episode's got me all kinds of intrigued and it's spilling the beans on some stuff.
There's this organization that's beefing with the Goddess, and turns out Makoto's folks were a noble and a priestess.

Then this Superior Dragon Luto shows up, and it's weird 'cause he's a dragon but looks human, so he's made some pact. Even says his master was from another world like Makoto. Plus, he's the brains behind the adventurers' guild, which actually aims to keep the human population in check.

And now, this other world's got game vibes, and there's different time flows between the human world and this one? What's going on?
Gotta say though, the idea of Makoto becoming a world-hopper is kinda cool and probably the best move, 'cause leaving Tomoe and Mio behind would be super sad.

Root zeal on bedding Makoto is way too hair-raising, sharing titillating details about how he can satisfy Makoto whether he's on a form of male or female. I can't seem to shake these shivers I feel. He's way too zealous but in a way quite fun. The world I that dazzle me would lose its lustre if he doesn't exist. When Tomoe says something along this line, not exactly verbatim, I felt that. Losing someone that precious hurts so bad, that line by Tomoe more or less capture that.

So what did Root/Luto gain by attacking Lime? I don't see how it benefited him. All it did was make his introduction to Makoto be as an antagonist. I'd have to put him in his place promptly, lol. Like uhh no dude. You are not seducing me. Not even a sliver of a chance, as a guy, especially when I have Tomoe here. If I want a lizard lover, she's to whom I'd turn, not you :P

Luto...

"since when did you become a man"

HUH ? LOL

300 years ago... dude was a woman...

"captivate you as either woman or man" HAHAHA

Makoto: "NOOOO" HAHAHAHA

(Should at least try the woman, dude had big ( \ Y / )s, kinda hawt TBH... I would hit it)

.

And... yup... there's the "time moves differently between different worlds"

.

And becoming someone that can travel between worlds... huh... there are a couple of other series with this... LOL

Catalyst huh... better not be a "Door".... LOL

Tho... if he does somehow travels between world, he still needs to fix the "time moves differently" part...

Imagine if Makoto returns to Earth, and 1 min pass = 1 day pass... 1 hour = 60 days of Makoto gone, that would drive Mio Crazy...

But Luto also mentioned "Time Travel"... so that means Makoto could technically go back to Earth, and then when he travels back to Isekai, he would have to "reverse time" to maybe a couple of mins of when he left. But traveling to Earth would be fine, as time is suppose to move slowly there, so not much time will pass.

.

However, there are some things that doesn't line up...

With Makoto's parents, that originated from Isekai, but travels to Earth somehow and Birth Makoto and raised him there, meaning at least 18 years has passed... so by the time Makoto goes to Isekai, it means hundred or thousands of years should have already passed...

But Library lady explained how his parents came from a Ruin... that apparently wasn't that long ago... between a 100 year to 10 years when the Demons invaded.

.

This means the "time moving differently" may not exactly be true.

While it may simply just be "time travel" as Lute also mentioned afterwards.

Where when someone travels between worlds, they would either reverse or fast forward time to the past or future.

Hmmm no oped this time because theres lot to be cramp on this one sole episode.

The mightiest of all dragon disguised as a man now, because after 1000 years or so, bored with female gender and decided to swap it into man thanks to the relationship with that dragon manfriend on the past? Alright that is truly unexpected story of that dragon...

Tho idk why but Eva backstory quite touching since she's indeed have some bigger goal than what i expect. Her meet with Lime will changes everything and also Makoto too, i can feel it through my teeth.

Tomoe worry about their future fate. Then Mio concern trying to seduce Makoto to fucked her while sleeping on the couch but fail miserably because Makoto was just too innocent lol. Also, Shiki, and his behind-the-scene play with that demon. This is tsukimitchi part i like the most from this second season ngl...

Tbh, i didn't want bro to get back to his world at the beginning because the "government system" bro made for those semi-humans and monsters in the subsapace IS ACTUALLY BEAUTIFUL, in my opinion.... But, this "wish" of getting back can also make him improve his power dramatically to almost god levels🥶

Also, it's surprising to see the truth about the adventurers' guild. It's a power and population control policy💀💀💀

Lime Latte having his magic sword be taken, and the academy librarian Eva together with him when they got captured by the guards, they need to make their escape quick and relay information to Makoto about the hyuman experimentations conducted in secret. And this, to Shiki, he can finally put his anger to full use...only except that Lime and Eva managed to escape, putting his excitement to regrets. Eva recognizing Makoto's search for his parents, who've gone missing from town movements in Kaleneon after the demon invasion 10 years ago, she was also from that place, and joined the organization that opposes the Goddess. That, at the very least, is information to Makoto, which forwards his investigation.

With Tomoe and Mio having to deal with the guildmaster Luto a.k.a Banshoku, the Greater Dragon of the Myriad Colours, who apologizes for disturbing Lime, he is quite the figure of attention, which to Tomoe, she shares an intent with him, and not in a good way. Though Luto's extent is not to kill but to discuss things over at the guild, he too like Makoto, was also someone from Japan, who at the behest of the Goddess, created the Adventurer's Guild and the like as the foundation of the other world's system. And the most important of all, his master's information, despite all of the Talk no Jutsu infodump, there is a way to go back home, but it's a nearly impossible feat.

It's true that ordinary humans don't live up to 100 years old, but will Makoto beat the odds to go back to Japan? And if so, travelling between worlds could be a catalyst to do so.
