| I feel you, i have put this on hold after ep 6 because I can't take a the fact that the central conflict of multiple episodes was actually just ED, which came out of nowhere and felt extremely unnecessary and ridiculous. I can't even begin to imagine how hard i cringed at the scene where rudeus tries to kill himself over this, like yeah sure, it's been hard due to a lot of stuff and its an understandable action, probably somewhat realistic, but not every realistic scenario makes a good story, it just felt super cringe. But i will definitely back to it because from what i've heard, the stoey gets simply amazing from after this cour. |

It didn't come out of nowhere. Its a direct result of Eris' sudden departure and leaving him. Rudeus may have taken the first step in episode 1 to move on but it doesn't happen overnight.
This show has always been about the realistic slowburn journey of personal change and overcoming hardships of mental health. Especially such traumatic ones that Rudeus still carries from his original life.
| @filimaua13 man you just missed ma whole point. I did say that its understandable, i never said its unrealistic, and i do understand why it happened. My complaint is that i would have preferred it if they turned the story in a different direction without this silly thing, they could've easily just.... Not do it... Instead they chose such a lame plot point and for me, it overstayed its welcome. I am not criticizing it in the first place, my initial comment was all about why I can't go ahead with it because I don't find it interesting enough to watch. Though ofc, i will push through because i've heard the rest is great. |

| It's my second fav anime out of nearly 200 shows that I have watched so imo dont drop it and I feel like next seasons are gonna be much better than the last school arc that we had. (personally I did like this arc tho) |
