And so wraps the second arc. This arc had a very touching emotional finish, and the cast of characters was much more memorable and colorful than the first arc. Overall, I am loving this show.

If I had any complaint, it's maybe that they didn't leave enough clues for us before the reveal. Or maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough haha.

That ends this arc. The backstory was kinda touching, I liked it.

She finally remembered her mother after seeing her holding a knife, poor Mai.

I liked it more than the first arc as well, especially the conclusion. I hope the next one delievers as well.

Sato is a great mother, she did everything to protect Mai.
Yagisawa was a great man too, he tried to protect them both and he killed himself, but it was all for nothing in the end.

Sakon truly did a bit of trolling. Making Yagisawa’s death for nothing.

Welp ye. If only mai at the end still have the coach :( Wonder how she will do now alone. Coach was actually a good guy.

This arc was a bit more interesting than the last.

Sakon showing surprise when Yagisawa came forward guaranteed that he wasn’t the culprit & was covering for someone, which was most likely Mai’s mom whom he took hostage.
The crazed kid was funny, I thought he was a bait for sure since even the writer seemed to have forgotten him for a whole episode lol.

I'm still annoyed at how irresponsible the characters act. The police taking all night to arrive, the policewoman bickering over who’s going to solve the mystery first, wanting to take a shower, etc & Sakon asking the culprit to reveal themselves (cornering them to suicide/murder someone else).

Poor Mai & coach :(
