I didn't liked love is war .i mostly into shonen type of anime. But this show have good rating and just tell me is this worth my time!?

nah this isn't for you. i wrote a whole thing about how unlike love is war, this isn't a fun time rom-com story before looking at your list. mate, you almost exclusively watch shonen. what are you doing on this side of mal?

the first episode might trick you into thinking you'll like it (because it's legit that good) but don't be fooled. this isn't for you.

then watch the first episode and see if you like it, its easily a candidate for the best episode of the year (possibly decade) but just know that the rest isn't as good. especially towards the end.

Yeah, give it a try. Even if it’s same author Kaguya, this is way different. I don’t think you’ll be able to tell that it’s the same author
First episode is 1h 20 min, if it didn’t convince you, you can stop there

Yo ONG im the same way stories about love,slice of life, idols Is so boring to me but dawg I legit cried on the first episode this show is so damn good and I think love is war is ok, but this show needs to b seen by everyone

Watch the 1st Episode. If you liked it, watch Episode 2 and 3. If you didn't like it, you should probably drop it at that point

My friend who's upto date with the manga said that every time they explore the non-idol part of the story, it's real good (specifically that season 2 is going to be phenomenal).

As for this first season, the first episode is GREAT. Ep 6, 7 & 8 are really good too. The rest of it was a relatively realistic (by anime standards) take on different parts of the Japanese Entertainment industry & culture (idols, films, reality shows, the internet being a double-edged sword etc).

If you're someone who is at all interested in that - this is probably one of the best in that genre (animation, music, voice acting & direction all do justice to the source material as well). The genre itself may not be everyone's cup of tea - especially guys who are fans of only battle shonen or the hyperviolent subsection of Seinen; but within that genre, there's no denying that Oshi No Ko is a solid work. But yeah - you not liking Love Is War, probably means you won't like this one past the first episode either.

Yeah I’d say so, I was real skeptical before watching it by OMG it’s good. I wouldn’t say it’s similar to kaguyasama even though I liked both, it just got the good pacing and animation from it

It's incredible and that's coming from someone who has only watched shonen (mostly). I cried like a baby.

Only Naruto had made me cry like that when he met his mother Kushina and when he said goodbye to his father in the 4th war hahaha oh and when Yuta said goodbye to Rika in JJK 0 movie. Damn, that was sad.

Please watch OSNK. It's not a long anime. It has a beautiful animation style, the characters are stunning, the story can be light but also dark. It's got nuanced points, a bit of magic and a great character development. If you like character development in Shonen then you will appreciate the character of Aqua and Ruby, but also the darkness of Rika Arima, Ai and Kana etc.

100,000%. Watch this. I got curious bc it remained at the top of aniwatch popularity for a month straight… found out the reason and they are NOT bluffing. First episode is long- an hour 22 minutes. You’ll be interested after that one alone.

if you are into Rom-Com stuff then you should really give it a try, I think that the first 2 episodes are enough for you to decide whether to hook on this anime or not. Not to mention that it's opening is a Banger by Yoasobi and was really good and the animation was moreover on the saturated side which according to me looked good.

the series is very good and they adapted the manga well but it's not for everyone so just watch the first few eps to see if you're into it or not. but the manga is amazing and gives a lot more insight into the characters especially ruby, ai and kana so i really recommend reading it too !

Personally i recommend it but keep in mind, the first episode may deceive you into thinking the plot is what it seems, because it’s a completely different thing (sorry for the bad english, it isn’t my first language)
