| Another one I think might be a favorite of mine this season, it wasn’t really scary but the twist was definitely spooky. The fact that train station’s power is so potent that it can revive dead people is wild lol, and we know the station didn’t kill Misato because our MC was still alive after Meiko also used the station, so this was just an unfortunate series of events that lead to a drowned corpse coming to love you lol, definitely not a good time. So yeah, next time you think about using some kind of weird power to get back with your ex, think about whether or not they might die before they come back to you lol. |

| Felt like the ending twist with the spooky water-gobbed face was a pretty weak conclusion/"jumpscare" but otherwise I liked this one. The artstyle is one of my favourites they've used, and I think Tomoki is one of my favourite designs they've had. I also really like the twist here about Misato dying unbeknownst to Tomoki. Makes his situation feel more upsetting, because if he was messing with the natural order of things, I can empathize but you messed up. But from his perspective, Meiko caused them to break up, so he's only setting things back together. And I do think forcing someone to love you in this way is wrong regardless of living status, so I'm glad the episode sort of took a stance against it. If he had only stalked her after their breakup, he would've been fine. |
