Leonhart is carrying so much responsibility this episode that it's almost hard to believe.

We got to see Fenrir in a more prominent role for leading an invasion. Among all this drama, it truly feels like the show has entered a phase where no one is truly safe.

Exciting episode, and Fenrir and Nir have a sad childhood story as expected, though Nir still doesn't reveal why he lose one of his eye. I assume he took it out by himself in order to prove his loyalty when Fenrir got his ear cut.

Sariphi truly amazing when she can tame Fenrir by patting his head, yep, she can has her own furry harem but fortunately (or unfortunately) this anime is not that kind of genre.

“I want you to be there to see me become a genuine queen”

Nah man, Lente’s display of bravery combined with that Yamamoto Kohta OST got me over here in tears 😭 I love this show so much. It’s just gradually got better and better with every story arc and Sariphi is such an awesome MC

Even in the short time they’ve been together, Sariphi has already touched Fenrir. Even though he’s done some messed up stuff you can tell he’s not really evil. Just a broken child on the inside desperate for the acknowledgment of others.

The contrast between he and Nir’s relationship and Leo and Anubis is so interesting. Both princes were kind children who didn’t have great upbringings, but Leo had Anubis who wasn’t afraid to correct him when he went out of line. Nir on the other hand, is subservient to Fenrir and doesn’t guide him as a friend, but serves him as a servant

Next week’s fight looks awesome from the preview. I can’t wait to see what they’ve got cooked up.

You advise him, "Go for it, Sari!" Winning someone over takes more than just gifts and empty words. She's enamored with Leo's genuine nature, and that's irreplaceable. I agree with her too, though I do sympathize with his tough journey. Still, I'm not fond of his mindset.

Fen talks about a survival-of-the-fittest world, but doesn't he see that he owes his existence to Leo's compassion? Even his loyal servant stands by him due to Leo's kindness in times of weakness.

And let's not forget Landt, who truly deserves a victory by now.

Not going to lie, initially I thought it was gonna be some creepy beast anime, but the more I watched the more endearing it became.

I feel kind of sorry for Fenrir. I was expecting Sariphi to ask Bennu if he could regenerate Fenrir's ear at some point.

Leo is made aware of Fenrir's dealings, especially now that he has held Sariphi hostage, and both Lante and Clops are on the pursuit to find her with Bennu.

Young Fenrir being seen as the weakest against young Leo, who doesn't want to fight, and he lost one side of his ear with it. Fenrir wants to reset the beast states to one of fighting for the strongest who will survive, and humans will be at the behest of them, though Sariphi doesn't waver at his demands and proves her stand. As the anti-monarchists are rounded up by Anubis, he is caught by (Gleip)Nir, whom Fenrir saved him out of slavery to be his servant.

Jorgunmand saves Anubis at the cusp of Nir's attacks, though the latter makes his escape, at least for now. To think that Sariphi has changed the landscape of Ozmargo, Leo and the kingdom's wholly trust in her is profound. And just with one touch, Sariphi is able to understand Fenrir's thoughts being once an emblem of herself in him. Though Bennu and Cy manage to save Sariphi out, it's Lante acting as the decoy to fight against Fenrir, though Sariphi wants Lante to be upgraded to the Queen's Guard.

The enemy stronghold has been found, and it's action from here on.

Fucking phenomenal episode. Fenrir's backstory is fantastic and Sariphi's interactions with him are great. Anubis' devotion to the king and willingness to sacrifice himself for him only for Jormungand to step in and save him. And the fight between Jormundand and Nir is very epic, since it really shows the difference in combat skills between them and also shows how strong Jormungand really is. And finally the epic rescue mission to save Sariphi to close it off. Lanteveldt being prepared to give up his life for Sariphi is very admirable and really shows his development as a character, going from a poor man wanting a position of power to a man who wants to fulfil his duty of protecting the queen.

So Fenrir is like Leo, only weaker and eviler. Anubis had me worried there for a moment.

Lante truly shined this episode! Will Leo come save them now? Let's see.
