| Hello all! first off I would like to say I really enjoyed this show. Is it my favorite? no, HOWEVER. What I really want to point out here is the opening credit song/animation. I am simply at a loss for words. I want to say that this reminds me of the 90s anime but I would be lying, because this is so much better. The music laced with the art. As our MC runs and the lines of her ink come of the page to the music. I cant say I have seen an opening better. I would love to hear some openings that you love as well! This one for me after all my years of anime watching is a 10/10 |

| You have to check out Jigokuraku/Hell's Paradise, Vinland Saga, and Ranking of Kings. There are a lot more good ones out there that have really good opening sequences. Two of these came out recently. I agree that Tengoku Daimakyou/Heaven's Delusion has a really good opening, but there have been others that have been just as good. |

| Link click S2 Op 'Vortex' exists, so no. You can play that op in reverse, and it would still work. I don't think there's any other OP that can do that. That op is a work of art and even the visuals are way better. |

ONK definitely takes the cake for me, but I do agree with you - counting from 2013 - now, there haven’t been much good memorable OPs - KnYaiba / JJK have decent OPs but there haven’t been much good ones that I wanted to add to my music in a while, Bungos first season was good, Darling in the Franx was a hit too my all time favorite SOUNDTRACK is Guilty Crowns (2011), all of them are HITS. |

I know nagatoro is a decisive show, but I think the opening is perfect for it. For me so many shows in the last decade have been just insert jpop song/animation here. Which is why I made such a bold statement, that this is the first time in awhile, that it didn't feel like that. Thank you so much for the discussion though, I will certainly check out the openings you listed. Always looking for new excited ideas. You mentioned darling in the franx. The opening reminds me of the Gundam Wing ost which I love, and has a great old school feel too it. Great taste my dude! |
