I would like to come back to one point. There are still debates on whether it will be a remake/reboot or a sequel. Already know that Crunchyroll clarified that it was the continuation of the adaptation and not a remake, but above all what must make everyone agree, these are the 2 visuals that we had. The first one everyone has seen for a week, with Ciel and Sebastian. They are on a bell tower and the buildings shown behind are clearly those of Weston College. Finally, the second visual you may not have seen is that of Sebatian in the frame. We can see at the cardinal points of the frame that there are emblems (in the form of crystals) with symbols and writings. We can clearly see only two of them, but these are the signs and names of the dormitories (houses) of the school. We see at the bottom "Scarlet Wolf" in purple and on the right in blue "Sapphire Owl". The public school arc (Weston College) is the arc following the Campania arc in the manga. This season is therefore the sequel to the adaptation of the manga and the direct sequel to the 2017 film "Book of the Atlantic". 6 years later we have the Weston College arc and therefore the continuation of the anime !  |
| Tbh, maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t mind a total reboot if they are to full adapt the manga (that’s still ongoing). It would be better considering, the 1st season is mostly non canon. |

I think it's enough to advise new viewers to watch only the 9 episodes of Season 1 which adapt the first 3 arcs (episodes 1-6 and 13-15) and then skip straight to Book of Circus and everything else that adapt the sequel to the 6th arc that is the Campania with the movie. I mean it’s pretty fair to say they won’t reboot it, it’s just wishful thinking by me. Logically speaking, they wouldn’t profit much by remaking it from the beginning. It’s not like Kuroshitsui has the biggest fanbase ever, nor it’s that popular to milk it so yeah, I don’t think that’ll happen. It was more-so a “I would like if” scenario. |

| Can confirm, and of course the info page changed too, though my hopes for a full reboot were up for a sec. The initial seasons really made a mess of continuity for newcomers, after all. |
