| S1 didn't do too well. Many people are still waiting for thing such as Watamote S2, Ao Haru S2, AoButa S2, Bocchi S2, YagaKimi S2 and my personal most wanted S2, Adashima S2... S1 is the worst rated anime from Spring '23. |

| So they are going to milk the anime with more seasons, as well? They are literally doing the same exact thing as how Yumeta Company and Graphinica are with that piece of shit Tokyo Mew Mew New anime by making another season just for the sake of milking the franchise. |

| Well, given the first run didn't even get past the prologue territory, a second season was to be expected. Thinking that it might've been already planned to have a second season and despite the overall poor reception on MAL, it may or may not have performed better in Japan. VTubers and Kizuna Ai are still popular, methinks? Should be good enough to make it happen, for better or for worse. I don't think I'll be watching it though, as the first season was already extremely hard to watch, even as a thing on the side. And even as a simple fluff anime, it still managed to miss the mark for me with how it lacked anything (or anyone) to keep my interest. The characters just didn't feel all that interesting and you can only listen to and watch the same song being performed so often before it starts to become grating more than anything else. It had a few good moments and ideas but those were quickly drowned out by everything else feeling so dreadfully mediocre. I guess I'm not the intended target audience, and that's okay. |

| Well, guess I am the first here. First not to trash on the anime. Believe it or not, I actually liked this one. I thought the characters were fairly likeable and the music was decent as well. Especially the finale was pretty good, the song was great and the animation was turned up a notch. Personally I didn't expect to get a second season, but I'm all the more happy to see it did and soon at that. I will definitely be watching. |
| Wow, I can't believe this got a S2. First season was mediocre at best for me, with plenty of boring moments in the earlier episodes. Only the last episode of S1 had the best presentation I've ever seen so far from the anime, because the collab performance of the 5 girls was stunningly marvelous. That's the best thing I've seen from S1 and nothing else stands out for me. I might have to pass S2 even though the girls are cute. I'm not excited for this sequel. Well, enjoy if you're looking forward to S2. |

| As said by others it was planned as soon as S1 production started so no surprise. And no body should be surprised either, especially since we didn't see all the units in the anime yet, there was no doubt there. Even tho those other VTubers already started streaming and did their first karaoke stream this weekend lol (their lives are actually really well produced, if this meh anime does anything for that, I'm all for it. That would be at least one good thing to get out of this show) |

| The last season was pretty average, but I'm glad there's another season coming because the story isn't finished. The performance in the last episode was also not bad, so maybe it'll keep improving... but I guess it depends on whether the improvement was driven by the plot or the budget. |

| Season 1 was pretty good. I went postal with the weird ntr, but once I settled in and binged watch the story came out and I loved it. 2nd season also shaping up to be a banger. Lots of well rounded characters and introductions of more. Looks like this show just getting started |

It's getting a second season to make people angry, I guess. Nothing to do with it being a project, not just a season. Nothing to do with it actually having decent numbers in the space of what actually matters, and not magically being replaced with a "better show" because that's how it works. Really. Surprise, some people actually like this show and it has nothing to do with how angry you are at it for existing. It going away will not make other "better" shows happen. Move on. Or fund your own perfect anime.
