| Why not these two franchises? Collabs don't need to make sense, Love Live is about idols so they can do collabs with whoever they want, they have done collabs with Sonic, Persona, Crayon Shin-Chan, Code Geass, Shadow Verse, Hatsune Miku, Granblue Fantasy, etc. In the Genjitsu no Yohane anime, Aqours members are put in a fantasy setting, a fantasy world, just like the world of TenSura, because of that this may be the most normal/logic collab they have ever done, and yet you ask why? lmao Also, this is a "Genjitsu no Yohane: Sunshine in the Mirror" collab, not a "Love Live! Sunshine! / Aqours" collab. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| This feels really out of left field. Ive seen Love Live collab in games and such, but never expected this. I know Sunshine in the Mirror is already something new for Love Live from an anime perspective, but really didnt see this coming. Mixed feelings. |

| The new Love Live Sunshine show is a fantasy anime so maybe they wanted to encourage some fans of that genre who might not otherwise be into Love Live to check it out as well. Tensura is a pretty popular fantasy anime so if that's what they're going for with a collab then it's a reasonable choice. It's an ONA so I doubt it'll be too long. |

| there is no need to read too much into this crossover lol. gny is fantasy, so is tensura. and during april fools they made an artwork of gny based on one of the promo art of tensura. now they just took it a step further with a chibi short animation. really all there is to it |
