I'm genuinely shocked at this. Millepensee have literally the shittiest record and I lose all hope for a show the moment I see their name on the animation studios. KumoDesu was already shocking with how much better the animation seemed when compared to their other works and you could see the improvement, even though the later episodes looked worse.

However this actually looks pretty good! The animation doesn't feel awkward and I haven't noticed any CG so far. Hopefully they have enough budget for this and can hold up for the later episodes.

again, please, understand that budget has literally little-to-nothing to do with the consistency of an anime over time

D*** you are right the odd and the animation style of this anime is totally amazing well it's a really good thing like uh the studio is putting so much effort to this a tissue and the show is kind of different light it is really putting the bmc and an easy guy bald and a real world also and it's kind of refreshing I I've read the mango and the manga is 21 chapters right now and I've read all of it after watching the 1st episode well it's kind of funny but it sounds obviously sounds funny but for me the manga's the story was amazing and I am d*** Can't wait for the next episode and it's really hyping me up I'm so excited bro

I am so glad other people have noticed this. From the moment I started watching this art style some how instantly became my favorite. The eyes in the foreground and all the shading/lighting added to their skin and hair just has me feeling like I am seeing the world in color for the first time. I too hope that this can stay consistent because I am loving it right now.

there is no such thing as running out of budget in most of the anime productions the animation inconsistencies you see in later episodes are a fruit of terrible schedule most anime suffer from these days

Honestly is the first thing that fully shocked me, I won't lie, I like these trashy Isekai's as well as many other types of shows with overused concepts- but this is the first time ive actually seen beautifully crafted characters and movements in any of these types of shows. I'm used to seeing the "https://myanimelist.net/anime/48415 https://myanimelist.net/anime/47161"
type of animation where it's just " blow up everything and make it seem magical.

the first half of the second episode looked like a powerpoint. but the still frames are nice. but in the back of my head, there's this voice going its ai generated.its probably definitely not. i don't think the production started after AI even became mainstream. but something about it. idk.
