I watched the first 3 episodes, and the plot has potential to be pretty interesting but the writing is... Mid to say the least. Does it improve overtime or does it stay like that for the whole series?

Well, it probably wouldn't be in the low 7's if it improved that much.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

In my opinion it doesn't get worse or better later on. There's no unexpected development or anything like that from what i remember, so it's just average from beginning to end

I watched 2 times now not a bad show and yes there's a little development on the main character and the super power that he have.

I really liked the show, enough to buy the manga. I think it really depends on whether or not you find Yoite and how his motivations end up changing Miharu compelling. The anime does deviate from the mange some (I've read the first six volumes thus far, but I've heard the manga ends differently).

I don't think Nabari is perfect or for everyone, but I think the characters can be very enjoyable. It has some good jokes and moments. It really picked up for me when Raikou is introduced, personally.

Edit: If you are interested in the characters, I'd recommend reading the manga. I don't think the anime does it justice, especially with the latter half being anime-only.

Thematically, Nabari explores issues of overcoming trauma, grief, and sacrifice. The main crux of will Miharu use his powers, selfishly or selflessly, if it means hurting others (or himself) carried me through along with the characters. The anime honestly commits pretty egregious character assassination to Yukimi as well. The manga's art is beautiful and its story thoughtful, if a bit clumsy at times.

Just watched it for the first time, and honestly if you’re like me and aren’t really feeling it by episode 5 I’d say skip it. It has some good elements but I have it as a 6/10
can't yuck my yum

I feel like the ending is rewarding, but basically up to that point, it’s pretty average.

it didn't. The best part of it was on early stages and the one fights at lift (forgot detail) . Not bad, pretty enjoyable

To be honest, it was the only anime I dropped due to being so boring. I quite like character concepts but everything about the story made me sooo tired and all episodes I watched were extremely exhausting. I'm happy you guys like it tho, maybe I'll give it another try one day.
