I would say no, the fights themselves coming up in cour 2 will likely be the same as in the manga, not including added fights, it's better to wait

Personally I’d wait. From what we know from the 1st cour and what people involved with the production are saying the anime will definitely be the best way to experience TYBW

you do realize you can read the manga and go back to watching the anime right. if you wish to experience it through the anime then fine do that, but as someone who's finished the manga, the experience was just the same or hell even better knowing what I did.

You can read it if you want, but I'd wait for Part 2, as the anime adaptation for the TYBW is the definitive version of this arc.
Especially from the Second Invasion onwards when new anime content is much needed.

There was plenty of content added in this cour. Fight scenes for example.
Like Ichigo vs Ywach: In the manga he just fires a getsuga, ywach pins him down and that's it. In the anime they actually clash many times and we even see new quincy abilities.

Also all of the stern ritters clashing against the shinigami scenes have added content. In the manga we only see the match ups and then nothing really (except for as nodt and shunsui). The anime actually showed them clashing and fighting.

There are more examples of added content like uryuu scenes, unohana using her bankai more, halibel being snatched by ywach, and the list goes on...

This is why imo the anime has been the best way to experience the story so far.

Yes, some scenes are missing from the manga but most of them aren't really important for the main plot.

Why? the anime will adapt everything and expand on stuff Kubo didn't do in the manga, just watch the anime.

It depends. If you start the manga from chapter one, then for the context you should. But if you've already read it before, but for some reason or another dropped it, then it isn't really needed. TYBW anime is much more coherent than the manga. It has cut all the unnecessary fan service (so far), ridiculous 'funny' scenes' or at least toned those down (so far), and added little details here and there that tie better scenes together and explain certain things. For example, in the manga, we don't see Harriel basically sacrificing herself for Nel and her arrancar friends. While that scene might seem like an unnecessary addition, it actually establishes Yhwach is a real deal -he is the bad guy who has come and he won't hold back. In the manga, we realize much later that maybe, Yhwach's threat is actually a serious one. For a war arc, such things should be established and addressed as quickly as possible if you want to get in a mood that is serious and somber. So, my advice to you would wait and read the manga after the anime has ended just so you won't feel like the manga is missing parts...but if you don't care about such things...*Shrugs.*

As you want. Just keep in mind the ending was rushed so even though the anime will have the same ending, it will be delivered better

the anime has added content also (we already have lines in the trailer that aren't in the manga ). So you'll have to watch the anime anyway later

Don’t understand why people prefer the anime here. They rushed through 6 volumes of content in 13 episodes and completely ruined the Kenpachi fight by deciding to end one episode on a cliffhanger. Most of this season was just panel for panel the manga and many details and other small scenes were cut. Everything added was mediocre and superfluous and the issues with the original plot have not been addressed. Fans just really want to love it so badly I guess because the anime has been gone for a decade.

Disagree. As you seen the Ichigo Vs Yhwach fight was actually completely new... They heavily extended that encounter along with Kenpachi Vs Kenpachi. Unohana's Bankai demonstration was a full minute of new battle. This Cour we're continuously being told there's a lot of new additions being added by staff, I'm highly positive fights already established will be extended.

I did read the whole manga after the first part, and I don’t regret. The manga is delightful in its own way with the drawing and page compositions, but I read it in press format, I don’t think I would enjoy it half as much if I read it online.

I get the excitement of all the reviews and I’m still excited to see them in the anime format. I was afraid I would spoil myself, but I don’t feel like having a worse experience because of it at all.

Read the chapters alongside the new anime up to where they're adapted episode by episode. The manga is ample valuable in its own right for Kubo's art and paneling, and you can appreciate the TYBW adaptation more.

@TasteOfRage8 I dont have any personal expectations or hype towards this series, I have NEVER seen or read Bleach, and I was never interested in reading the manga, the anime I might watch someday.

Yet it seems this miracle of an adaptation is doing some great stuff.
Thus I have a question, is this the case of the source material, the final arc already being great, OR the anime coming out and further expanding and improving the source material tons?
If the later, there is even one more reason to me why I should avoid the manga and go with the anime one day.
