All of the characters are in college and are over 18. So wouldn't this qualify for the adult cast theme?

adult actually doesn't mean just above the age of 18. It means being matured. Even I've classmates of 18 who are very childish. Same goes for this anime. Characters in this anime can't be called adults

It should be. MAL tags are not very consistent because Grand Blue has an “adult cast” tag but RaG and Golden Time don’t. It’s weird, since all 3 of said anime are college anime.

Isn't it that the legal age of maturity in Japan is 20? Maybe that's part of the inconsistencies. But also for me personally Adult Cast means handling more adult problems, the stories revolve around different things, most of the time it focuses/has to do with workplaces rather than high school/college. I would not consider Uzaki-chan wa asobitai! an Adult cast although they are on university, on the other side we have Wotaku ni koi wa muzukashi or New Game! which heavily revolve around work, therefore I would consider these "adult cast". But that's only my personal take on it

But like I said in the quote, Grand Blue is a college anime but it still says adult cast.

It can be, but ig that it would destroy the "main story". I mean it wouldn't be bad but u can't put it in the main story so it might be at the end of s3 for example?
Well, in one of the episodes of s2 he (forgot his name lol) said he wouldn't do it with Ruka so there's the question... Would he do it with Chizuru if he had the chance or wouldn't he bc is to scared or sth. like that. Uk?

In my opinion they can do it in s3 at the end bc in the middle or at the beginning it's to early.
