| Finally got to watch this after all the time waiting since the movie release. Got a huge burst of nostalgia for Frontier. But to be honest no one that isn’t a die hard Frontier fan will enjoy this. It’s basically a huge music video with some story interspersed a la Macross Flashback. But it was nice to see the characters again, specially Ranka who really grew up |

| Older Ranka is adorable and the song is pretty catchy as well; more Yoko Kanno is always a good thing. It feels like they could continue some Delta story beats in a potential Frontier revival but I guess it remains to be seen if we get anything more. |
| I can't believe they are trying to make that atrocious second movie canon. Other than Frontier surfing on debris into atmosphere, it should all go into trash can. CG was pretty jarring as well. It would be nice to see a continuation of Macross F, but where TV series left off. Movies were just too dumb to take seriously and going further that way would mean just another Delta garbage. |

| It felt too short for a movie! It should be classified as an OVA to be honest :/ Even so, I've enjoyed it. The song was nice. |

The movies elevated the ending of the series that just ended without a true conclusion to Sheryl and altos characters This. I don't get why so many people prefer series ending over movies. The series was great but it was pretty clear that the script was redone a bunch of times because they were not sure what to do with some characters and the ending. Movies did it way better. And if this short can be considered canon, when movies ening is also canon. |

| finally watched it tonight and i love it, glad to see the cg getting better and better and glad that this made the movie continuity canon, though i dont really think that should be unexpected. |
