Shiro is back! Honestly, this guy has been a mystery since the beginning and he didn't hold back showing what he's capable of again.

Yataro is definitely a problem against Musashi as he didn't hold back his own intentions. Poor Michiru for getting caught up in all this mess.

Oh no a sudden attack! The villain is more evil than I thought, it's such a shame that they're also hot, and they make a good ship, especially Musashi and Inukai.

I hope Uesugi bushi band can recover from this, but I still don't know the extent of the damage. Though I'd like the captain to be alive, one of the reason is that he's hot, but another reason is that he value so much in bloodline or related by blood bond, but I just heard some of the Uesugi members want to flee after the attack. So I want the captain to know that bloodline, while important, is not everything.

There's strong potentially romantic relationship between Musashi and Michiru, but I hope they'll be just a platonic friend. Orient should shake things up by surprise the audience with MSM couple.

Great episode! The Uesugi leader has been killed by Inukai and it seems an ally of Inukai stops the Uesugi clan from linking blade energy!
Inukai goes straight to Musashi and it seems he senses that Michiru has a connection with her also.
One of Orochi's heads is summoned by Inukai and devastates nearly everyone..
Meanwhile, Musashi and Michiru are in the presence of Michiru's father who wants to retrieve the obsidian goddess from Musashi.
She pleads for her father to save Musashi's life and he seems cooperative...
She says that she will find a way to separate the goddess from Musashi without killing him.

But he is acting too nice... he turns Michiru into stone form! He thought she was pleading for his sympathy...what a disgusting person.
He tells Musashi that the stone form she is in is her 'true form.' He combines his offspring with oni!
He brings Michiru back but resets her memories! Musashi seems powerless against Michiru's father...
But just as he is about to kill Musashi, Michiru stabs her father in the back. Her memories are still clinging to her body.
I felt so bad for Michiru...
Takeda reinforcements arrive, but can they really defeat them now?

Looking forward to the next episode!

Holy shit what a great episode. Possibly the best one of this series.

I couldn't believe the leader of Uesugi band was just killed like that.

They managed to make me like Michiru's father for a second there and then back to hating him. It was fucking sad when we find out that that ugly bastard erased Michiru's memories, that was so frustrating to see. But when the ugly bastard was about to kill Mushashi and Michiru's body moved by it's own and she spoke words she didn't know, it just broke my heart. It's so sad as I see no way for Michiru to regain her memories. I hope she's able to fall for Mushashi again.

Watching the ED visuals after that gave me chills. The ED song is really beautiful.

The post-credits though. Mushashi has to call the Obsidian goddess now it seems.

5/5 episode.

Nothing happened in this episode, we spend an episode in Musashi's dream when he saves that girl. Seriously? That was the whole episode, I waited a week for it to appear and this appears? Disappointing. And finally, who are the Obsidian guys? Why are they so strong?

Damn this episode was straight fire. Rip to the Captain of the Uesugi band. These guys are nothing to mess with.

The real intrigue is why they want the Obsideon Goddess. I mean they are also Bushi so it will be interesting what their goal is.

Damn, so the head of the Usegi band is dead thanks to Inukai and to make matters worse his brother shows up to wipe them out. Poor Michiru got reduced to a doll state by her father, but some of her memories of Musashi still remain although Musashi was powerless to stop it with out his blade. The Takeda band arrive, but it was already too late for the Usegi band. Now they call call on Musashi to summon the Obsidian goddess inside of him again.

I think Musashi is similar to Uzumaki Naruto who has a unique special power within him. While Naruto the 7th Hokage is a jinchuriki of Kurama the nine tailed fox demon; Musashi has the power of the Obsidian Goddess inside him. However, compare to Naruto, Musashi cannot uses the power of the Obsidian Goddess at will like Naruto the 7th Hokage who can uses the power of Kurama at will.

Poor Michiru, I hope they can save her. I actually quite like her character. Musashi is still way too weak, I mean there’s not many episodes left before this ends. When is he gonna find his strength to kick some ass? The Uesugi bushi guys got wiped all. For all their talk, they weren’t shit against the sword pervert and his creep ass “brother”.

The bushi want to use the Obsidian Goddess inside Musashi, but is that thing even going to play ball? Isn’t it kind of an evil force?

Anyways, curious to see what happens next week. The team better shape up for they’ll never defeat the baddies.

Just when you think that the Uesugi Band is done with the Oni ordeal, there is the Black Dogs' Shiro Inukai of the Obsidian Eight managing to outwit and eliminate Lord Tatsuomi. Plus Seiroku Inukawa as the newest face part of the brotherhood, he's a real deal of trouble.

Tactically, only Shiro sees Musashi as his real objective, and since Michiru is brought into the array with him, Musashi meets the Awaji Island god Yamato no Orochi a.k.a Michiru's father for the first time, also seeking the Obsidian Goddess for power. Yet, the daughter not complying with her father's requests out of love, and at first, he shows his face for sympathy, but it soon becomes clear that he doesn't care for her life.

Both Shiro and Inukawa are just vying for time while laying waste to the Uesugi Band which didn't seem much of a challenge, and Michiru (like Musashi) was the inferior child that no one ever wanted, enough for the latter to risk his life protecting her. Instead, the father restoring her stone self whilst removing all memories of human interaction just added fuel to Musashi's fire, and unless he does something, Michiru may be gone forever, his only outside friend.

Naoe has no choice, but to turn to Musashi for help for the Obsidian Goddess within him is their only hope to defeating the Kishin. And that is the next segway to reclaiming the Uesugi Band's reputation.

The most choatic episode ever, but in a good way.

I liked it because the episode shows that Musashi was taken to die and that the leader of the group Uesugi died and that Michiro can have her memories erased but the memories of her heart are not

It was a good episode, the battle was pretty one-sided, and a lot of destruction happened to the Uesugi band and its team. Michiru was taken control by his father who made her into a doll.

I give this episode 6/10.

Michiru best girl this episode (her growth is really good as a character) but tragic memory wipe.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
