Of all the Kamen Riders, why did Kamen Rider W get an anime?

cuz its already have manga, the writer is the same with the original series so to celebrate 10th years of double they make an anme adaptation for the manga(if im not mistaken they have 3 project all of them is anniversary project

sequel anime for 10th aniv duoble
a sequel movie for 10th aniv OOO
shin kamen Rider for 50TH aniv kamen rider

this is the main reason why duoble get an anime)

another reason is because this series is easy to milk,since no original main character died,a sequel would not feel different cuz nothing really changed, shoutarou is still a detective so is normal that he will found gaia memory related case in the future

duoble series ended with so much potential,they only beat the founder of gaia memory, but since there is still much more gaia memory distributed in black market,they can expand the story without it feels forced

Cause none of the others have that safe a manga to adapt, the other ones could get adapted but something tells me the one standalone one about the cool detective guy is gonna go over much better than the weird remakes that mash together several entries and ups the gore by 4000% percent like that weird kuuga/agito one or spirits. Those are only for die hards of a specific kind whereas Fuuto is both for fans of one of the most popular entires but also newcomers.

there's also a reboot of Black being released in the fall on Amazon Prime called Kamen Rider Black Sun.

Kamen Rider W is one of profitable kamen rider heisei era if i remember.

Also Kamen Rider W is about detective stuff, so author can write much as possible. Even in the newest game, Kamen Rider W is one of main charracter there.

They've tried to make a W sequel movie several times but Masaki Suda has always declined and I don't think they want another instance of the cardboard cutout meme happening.

They also left it in a way that sequels can happen. Like Foundation X or how the Gaia Memories produced previously are still being spread around.
W, OOO & Fourze are the only available series that can continue with Foundation X as their main villains too cause of the investments and the foundation's ability to replicate those items.

3. Bandai can milk from fan by sell CSM with just change the voice from TV series actors to anime VA

A part of me kinda hope we could see a crossover between W & OOO in manga. I consider the OOO in W to be in a parallel world different from the main series OOO.

W was one of the safest bets they could go with. W is one of the most popular series to this day, has a manga that is competent enough (Spirits is terrible; Agito/Kuuga was pandering to people who are ashamed to like '"kid stuff"), and has an interesting enough premisse that could atract newcomers to the franchise.

It's hard to tell, most likely just falls back to individual preference. I mean Mr. Bean is famous, and most of its jokes are cartoony humor.

I kinda want to see an animated movie where we get W to Ex-Aid riders facing off against Foundation X.
I consider Build to be the final nail in the coffin for Foundation X so probably need to skip out Build.
