| Not going to lie, I like Akira's outfit and hairstyle this episode. It brings out the charm in her look but also retains her deadly personality. This was quite an infiltration mission that I found surprisingly amusing. Curious to see what other type of missions this anime will show in the future. |

| I like how the masked dude was whispering, you can barely hear him ... BUT SOMEHOW, our main hero heard, that the blue haired dude killed his dad ... yeah, sure. Anyway, that was rather a one simple episodic episode, wasn't it ... they just went in, in disguise ... everyone figured everything their own way and then got backed by their teammates, mission completed. We got a bit of a back story of Akira at the beginning, but thats it. Also the head mistress from the Inn being a dude was kinda obvious. |

| The masked dude's feud with Sakuya...it just got resolved, just like that. OK...*confused Pikachu face* The new Shinsengumi are back on their next mission, and therein lies Akira's backstory, plus a little disguise to find Katsura Kogoro of the Choshu Domain. How Dumboshi finds his info...is through gossip, yet that...is also info as well, if not listening to the somewhat wrong stuff. And Akira got lucky through her disguise to land in the lion's den, while Sakuya is attentive enough for the spies behind the scenes. Well, Dumboshi isn't all dumb, but half-half. And everyone else made it regardless of how they managed to piece their info together, and the head mistress being a dude, yeah...should've known about that as the real person beating down his imposter. Another day, and another mission accomplished. This is kinda getting nowhere to be honest... |

| These backstories are so damn short. Just showing us that she cuts some assaulters doesn't tell m much about her. Oh well, the action scenes are cool at least. |

| It's the first time I've seen a protagonist cast a judgement on another character. The way Ichibanboshi didn't want to be paired with Sakuya because he killed his father was so unAnime-Mc. Shouldn't he first find out why his comrade did it in the first place, or maybe it's Ichibanboshi's moral code to never accept anyone that kills family since because his parents/family were prematurely killed. What made the thing weird, was when this episode went on everyone acted like nothing had happened, particularly near the end. |

| Even though they’re a team, everyone worked pretty well independently. They’ve all got their own methods. Todo seemed to be the only one this ep that didn’t know what was happening lol. Gyataro, Ichibanboshi, and Sogen all used their unique skillsets to gather information. In the end it all worked out. Except the real Kogoro got away. I had figured the geisha was a dude, but I didn’t think it was the real Kogoro. That was a surprise. This week we also got to learn more about Akira’s past. I wonder if her killing those men who assaulted her was what led her to becoming a criminal. One could argue self defense but in those days, I doubt it mattered much coming from a commoner. |

| I'm really irked by how poorly this anime is scored so far. It's awesome , not to mention aesthetic for the eyes. LOVE how it's ramping up in this episode. Starting to really become more attached to the characters. <3 |

| As usual, the animation is extremely poor. Basically, the show is made of still pictures; sometimes they are panned. when a character is talking, only his mouth moves. I can hardly believe that Golden Kamuy was made by this studio. |
| Was nice to see Sougen and Suzuran working together, they make up a good team. With Katsura going undercover, I'm eager to see how he'll contribute to the story going forward. |
