| Little confused why people liked the prologue. They tried to jam so much story in this prologue that it's exhausting trying to understand what is happening. And the motivation for the main evil guy to kill everyone in that base doesn't seem to be explained well at all. It's a real shame that this is some people's first Gundam show because it really doesn't seem on the same level as most other Gundam shows. |
| Oh wow! What a start! The animations + art is absolutely insane! Unfortunately, it was pretty obvious that Eri's parents were going to die, and that she would lead the Gundam in the future! Such a great start! |

If everything was explained already, whats the show going to explain? Its better to raise a lot of questions rather then spoiling everything already. In terms of production quality this episode was one of the best episodes of anime ive seen. As a jp streamer (Mafia Kajita) I watched commented: ''is this really show quality? Its practically movie at this point'' so personally not surprised people enjoyed it. It did a pretty great job at hooking people, imo. We will see how well your "it really doesn't seem on the same level as most other Gundam shows." ages. |

| I'm surprised people were pretty mixed on this, that was honestly one of the best intro episodes I've seen. The animation and score were perfect and it was pretty emotional. |
| this was great! To think I nearly missed this.. really feels like classic gundam ala Thunderbolt. If this was the prologue I wonder when the show will regain this darker atmosphere |

| Now that the dub has finally come out, I'm finally ready to start watching this. These suits work a bit different than previous ones, really becoming one with the owner, and they appear dangerous in a way. I cried when Ericht's father died. That child has been shoved into a lot of things that a child should not have to endure, and she doesn't even know it yet. But, this is Gundam, and that's to be expected. |

| This is my first review to mark my journey into the Gundam Universe. Holy fucking shit this is dark. Child soldier, grim birthday, deadly space life support. Tears welled up in my eyes near the end of this. I was recently at the Moving Gundam exhibit in Japan, so I thought I should give this series a try, and damn did I miss out starting now. |

| I am pumped to finally watch The Witch from Mercury! That prologue was insanely strong - love the setup and characters. The way that the Gundams work in this reminds me a bit of the tragic harshness of IBO. It's interesting that they have to do with medical care for space populations. Really loving the colors and mech designs! |
