So, browsing through the comments of the OP video on YT, I came across an interesting observation that someone made about Eiko

"The female protagonist's name Eiko Tsukimi, is a reference to Huang Yueying, Zhuge Liang Kongming's historical wife

(Eiko Tsukimi) 月見 - 英子 vs 月英 (Yueying)

Look at the first two characters of Eiko's first and last name 月 and 英 vs Yueying 月英

Also, her hair is yellow/blond, which in Chinese is translated to "Huang"

Huang Yueying is the full name of Zhuge Liang's wife.

So, Eiko is possibly a reincarnated version of Kongming's wife. "

Eiko right now in the anime is more like Liu Bei (Kongming's original master), but I wonder if this might be some clues for future development of the story and their relationship as a whole.

Because there's probably gonna be an episode where Kongming is asked about his wife and he reminisces about her, right?

some manga reader said there's no romance relationship, more like they support each other.

No, there is no romance progression between them as of 12-13 chapters inserted in the manga

It's a reference just like many other references in the show, nothing more. Also nothing is known about Zhuge Liang's wife in Three Kingdom, she didn't even appear or mention about, that's how irrelevant his love life is. This is pretty much just the author trying to cram as much references of Three Kingdom into the show as possible.

I agree that it's probably just a trivia bit that the author puts in for the 3K enthusiast

But regarding his wife, while it's true that she's not really known in historical records at all. Her name was only recorded as "Lady Huang" and not much else

However, this show and many adaptation related to the 3K era often incorporates elements from the novel and various folklores and legends surrounding the characters.

And in those legends is where her full name of "Huang Yueying" came from. It's where we get a bunch of stories about how she's "ugly" and Kongming was the only person to saw through all that and married her for her intellect. The whole bit with her being an inventor who used the fire breathing juggernaut to destroy King Wutugu's armies are not from the novel, it's from what I will call "ancient fan-fictions"

So it's not really a stretch to say that she's actually more known in contemporary culture than you think. Most people can't even distinguish between legends and history with a lot of the 3K heroes, and Yueying is no different

well, if you want to be accurate, relationship between Zhuge Kong Ming and his wife Yueying is described more as a "partner", "a fellow in study" or such kind.
Sure she still did her wife-ly jobs (as expected of the age), but the impression people described and passed down later suggest it that their romance is not what you call the "romantic" type.
Some sources even ridiculed Zhuge's selection for a wife. Well, I don't think he gave a damn, tho.

So maybe it's true that Eiko is foreshadowed in the meta-story as Yueying reincarnation. That doesn't mean they will have romance.

I've read the manga upto chapter 29 for me I'll say that there some hints about eiko falling by kongming little by little. But since im just in chapter 29 and the total chapter was 59 as of now I'll update you guys. and there'll be more development for the two main character.

This is a super cool and well thought out theory. While I'm not completely against the idea personally, I prefer them as good friends. If this referencing is intentional, it'd be cool if it stays tongue in cheek rather than indicating romance in the future.

Read the whole manga until now in english (chap 46,5) and can tell, althought little there is a bit of a romance in there, other people ocasionally say they look like a couple, and Eiko gets all flutered thinking about it. The way kongming mentions her is more like someone who he's really found of and appreciates having around and will do anything to make her succeed. By that you can judge yourselves, is this love? In my conception yes, he really likes her and wants to make her achieve that worldwide level of peace, and consequentually if they get together that's a bonus.

These are the possibilities about Eiko's connection to Kongming:

A. She can be connected to the family line (a descendant) of Kongming's old master since there are instances wherein he remembers his master a lot by hearing her sing or by simply being with her.

B. She can be his great great granddaughter.

C. She can be the reincarnation of his wife like what other viewers presume. Her talent at singing and kindness captured Kongming's attention, just like when he fell in love with Huang Yueying due to her talents and great virtue.

I do not think he looks at Eiko in a romantic way the way he looked at his wife. Historically, as a man known for valuing loyalty and filial piety, he remained married and in love with only one woman in his whole life.

Also, despite being with Eiko, he still cherishes the feather fan he possesses (as shown in the anime series). I believe that is a sign of how he is still attached to his beloved wife.

Based on some historical sources like "Records of the Three Kingdoms‧Volume 35‧Book of Shu 5‧Biography of Zhuge Liang" and "Records of the Three Kingdoms Popular Romance" (Summarized into an article by Sun Shuxiang on epochtimes.com):

Zhuge Liang personally went to the Huang Mansion to propose marriage. Huang Yueying gave him a feather fan and asked him if he knew the purpose of giving him a feather fan? Zhuge Liang said, "Is it that ritual is light and affectionate and righteousness more important." Huang Yueying said, "Do you know there is another?" Zhuge Liang was puzzled. Huang Yueying then said: "You were chatting with my father about the general situation of the world just now, and you looked very high-spirited. When you mentioned that you were about to leave the mountain, you were very excited, but when you mentioned Cao Cao and Yuan Shao, you frowned and worried. I gave you this fan to cover you. Face it." The wise Huang Yueying believes that a man should not be happy and angry when he does things, he should be calm, and his emotions will not make a big deal. Whenever there is a major decision, you can use a feather fan to cover your face, buffer it, and calm down before talking.

After marrying Huang Yueying, Zhuge Liang never left the fan in his hands, regardless of spring, summer, autumn or winter. At the time of life and death dangers such as six trips to Qishan, thatched boat borrowing arrows, empty city plan, etc., Zhuge Liang also shook his feather fan lightly, looking calm, and his wife Huang Yueying was also credited behind this.

Now, let us see what will happen in the strory/show...

So far in the manga, there were several scenes where Eiko blushed at being complimented by Koumei or their relationship was misunderstood by others, that's all. I'm not sure it can be called romance lol, she's just shy. If we talk about age, Eiko is 20-22 years old, so it's fine I think if there's romance in the future
