| I pegged this show a 10/10 till he asked if he should save the world or kill the hero and the goddess answered save the world. I got a nasty feeling crawl over me, the hero's gonna be a girl and there's gonna be shitty romance between them and save the world instead of killing the hero. But his child avatar didn't act like a mineta or that disliked mc from mushko ... He was infact a very good mc. And then he rejected the other girls and said he loves dia. The osananajimi trope is almost unseen and I like it. He risked and fought a berserker. It was great. We didn't need the exposition of mjolnir. The tungsten rod dropped with terminal velocity was a great idea. It was called mjolnir somewhere I remember. Telling us he practiced it on a remote island made it feel like an actual technique instead of an asspull. I felt they forgot dias age or she's just drawn as a loli bait and disliked it but turns out it had a plot point. Then it went downhill, more like a nosedive.They brought her to tuatha and she's now MCs imoto instead of wife. And they introduced the hero. It's a fucking girl named Rhiannon. Fuck this show now. Completely ruined. Not interested in S2 at all... Or how many ever seasons they need. It's gonna be crap. If the ln or manga is finished, can you tell me I'm wrong? That it's not gonna be turned into some romance crap between lugh and Rhiannon? That he actually kills her? |
| So the anime didn’t go your way and now you hate it, that’s called being spoiled. I enjoyed this entire anime and I am looking forward to the second season. They brought Dia to their household to hide her, so they are pretending it’s the MC’s sibling, but that doesn’t mean he can’t eventually marry her. Also, the MC of Mushoku Tensei is learning to grow and change from how he was, which takes time, and this is a part of the anime, so there is nothing to hate about him. On MyAnimeList, so many good anime are hated just because people wanted the story / characters to go their own personal way, but it didn’t, so these spoiled people complain and hate the anime, rating them low undeservingly. I believe that is the wrong way to approach any expression of art. I look at art, listen to music, read books, or watch plays, shows, movies, and anime knowing that the authors of these things are telling their own story, so I do NOT force on these things my own personal opinions, ideas, beliefs, morality, viewpoints, perspectives, etc etc. I let them tell their story and if I enjoy it, then I will rate it higher, but if I do not enjoy it, I will rate it lower. People with an open mind will have the maturity to learn to enjoy many new things, but people without an open mind will not have the maturity to enjoy different things, they hate so many things just because it’s not what they want, limiting only themselves. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
